Same earrings, different day! I didn’t realize that these earrings are sold out, and I am SO SORRY about that!! What else steals the show about this outfit are these new shoes that I have been obsessing over! I have noticed (plus got some comments) on how I keep wearing the same shoes over and over. Well, lol, when you like a certain shoe, you like a certain shoe! I did come across these when my friend Lauren Sims was wearing them at the Reward Style party and I fell in love! They looked so easy to walk in, and they actually are SO comfy! I love the tassel detail and the color will go with just about anything!
I also have had this skirt for a couple months and thought this Cabo trip would be the perfect time to wear it! This whole look is something I would constantly wear over and over again. The skirt is a great material so it’s super comfortable to wear! I am thinking of doing a try on session with all the skirts + shorts + pants that would go with a bodysuit! I have to head to Conroe today (1 hour away) to help a friend house hunt and then if I make it back in time, I will try to do one! If not, there is always tomorrow!
White on white with a little mother nature to compliment this look! Literally, that water was a dreeeeeeam come true! It was worth the journey getting there and you can read all about our Sandals experience here! Today I wanted to talk about this top because I think its darling, practical, and affordable! It also comes in three different colors and I have my eye on the yellow! These shorts are new from Free People I came across them while I was browsing through the Galleria the other day! I needed some good white shorts that weren’t booty short and comfortable. I love the material on these shorts and just ordered the denim version. You probably think I am a little crazy that I order the same version of outfits in different colors but when they are that good, why go for something else?!
Anyways, I am a little late sharing this post but I promise to be on the ball all week with all my blog posts! I have tons of exciting spring / summer looks coming up!
Y’all, it has been a week! I am so excited to get back to blogging because blogging really does make me so happy. Being able to get on here and share photos of my outfits and what I am up to has been the biggest blessing. Hearing from you and being able ot connect with each of you also means the world to me. This week really did put things in perspective. Seeing my city get hurt by the flood and then work together to rebuild has been rough, but a beautiful thing to see. So many emotions and I would like to think I am not really an emotional person!
In the end, thankfully, my family and friends have been safe. Only material items have been damaged, but all things that are replaceable! I am hugging my loved ones extra tight tonight. For those that have been severely effected by the flood, my heart goes out to you! Please let me know how I can help, in anyway.
This was one of the dresses that I was going to wear for our anniversary shoot Ted and I did a couple weeks back! It is so elegant and makes such a statement and Ted LOVED it. The only reason why I didn’t wear it was because I wanted a pop of color for our shoot and I came across this playful one which was more me. I still couldn’t part ways with this dress so I kept it and I got to play dress up with it for this look!
I have been dreaming about investing in Chanel earrings and a Hermes bracelet for a couple years now and those pieces really do glam up this dress. I got them both from Switch, a subscription company for designer jewelry (think Netflix but Jewelry). I have tried this concept before but it wasn’t designer pieces. I love that I can “rent” these pieces that I actually have been thinking of purchasing for years now. My logic is, when I give it back, and still want it, I know I have to have it!
Any who I thought this dress and Switch concept would be good for any bride to be out there! Once I put on this dress, I immediately thought rehearsal dinner dress or date night!
Well, happy Friday babes! FINALLY made it to the weekend! We have hurricane Harvey coming for us and I am praying it isn’t bad. I stocked up on waters and a few snacks but I am sure we will be fine. Emily and I have a flight out to Cabo on Saturday so fingers crossed everything is good and we can jetset to Cabo for a few nights! A beach and some sun sounds SO nice right about now!
PS if you are looking into trying switch, they are giving everyone 50% off your first month. Code: buttercup and expires 12/31!
I feel like we have so many weddings coming up, that I assume you do to! The other day I wore this maxi romper / dress and felt like this was totally wedding appropriate. The maxi would be so flattering on all body types and SO comfortable. I love the built in romper but it gives the illusion of a maxi dress and open slit. SO CUTE and for a good price.
I wore this the other night in AZ and I had a sweet sweet reader stop me to say hi. Y’all, it literally had me in tears. It made my day! How unreal that I can be in a hotel in Arizona and meet someone who follows along. She then brought out the bride who also follows me. I was in TOTAL shock. I mean on her wedding day I got to hug her neck. SO SWEET! I will always cherish that moment and thank y’all for being the absolute best. Thank y’all for stopping me even when I am running around Houston just to say hi. It means more than you will ever know!
What a fun playful pink romper that I wore in Scottsdale one night! I had such an amazing time in Arizona with my Chateau Cocomar family. We had such an AMAZING time and I got so many questions on our trip! I surprisingly never had a desire to go to Arizona but now I want to bring Ted back. I will be working on a travel diary / vlog (video blog on youtube) on Wednesday so be back for that! I especially got so many questions about the tours and where we stayed so I will be sure to share. I LOVED LOVED LOVED this JW Marriott. Aren’t the photos of the property stunning? We had little “casitas” and it was such a cool experience!
As for this dinner time romper, I did order my usual size 4 in Topshop and this thing was tiggggggght. Idk if it was caused by the food baby I gained on the trip or what, but man, I would recommend sizing up. If I tried it on in the store or had extra time to swap it out, I would have gone with a 6! It is a SUPER flattering color and I loved the soft material. Definitely a fun going out romper.
Happy Monday darlings! I have SO MUCH to catch up on and prepare for NYFW, it’s not even funny. For my travel schedule, I am pretty much gone starting this weekend and come back in the middle of September. It’s about to get bananas over here, and I am so excited to take y’all with me!
