Today's episode is all about mindset. Mindset has a direct impact on your mental and physical health! This is particularly true when it comes to failure. 

We all experience failure, but there are different ways to respond and move forward from it. And some are healthier than others! 

The truth is, failure sucks. It's not that easy to just say "well, it's a learning experience" although that may be true. We are ingrained with a very male-dominant mindset. It's the "just power through it" epidemic. It's forced.

Terri Lynn is a Registered Holistic Practitioner who lives and breathes what she teaches!   

Her passion toward health began after a terrifying health scare at the age of 20 when she found herself having to withdraw from University in order to spend time at the Mayo Clinic seeking expert medical aid.  

After being diagnosed with a laundry list of illnesses she was told her best bet at having a fulfilling life would be to, ‘loose 50lbs, get rid of all toxic chemicals and live a stress-free, holistic life.’  She made those directions her mission and once she had become accustomed to her new lifestyle, she pursued becoming a Certified Health Coach.  

After which, she got hired at the top clinic in Winnipeg, MB and found her calling in aiding people to become healthier and happier.  After working with over 100 clients she decided to become a Certified Life Coach and start her own practice marrying Life Coaching & Health Coaching in order to truly give her clients results from the inside out. 

Terri Lynn has stayed true to her promise of continually improving her practice through education & experience.  Currently she is a Registered Holistic Practitioner working with women around the globe, aiding them in pursuing body/mind/soul health & alignment.

Happy Fourth of July! In this episode I am diving into how to enjoy your holiday in a healthy way and sharing my best holiday health tips! 

Many people will take a few days off for the Fourth of July and enjoy time with family and friends! It is important to rest! This can be a good thing for your body - switching up your routine is actually GOOD for your metabolism! 

Another important tip for the holidays is blood sugar regulation! We will often forget to eat and then overeat and create a blood sugar imbalance.

In this episode I am diving into why digestive health is so important and how it can actually be a big key to weight management! You can eat so clean and exercise to the max, but if your digestion is not optimized, you won't see results. 

There are so many factors to why you may have experience belly bloat - what and when you are eating, how much water you are taking in, the stress you are under, etc.

The first reaction to belly bloat is often to take a supplement. Most of the time, however, this is not enough to resolve the issue!

In this episode I am diving into why certain events, stress and trauma that you've experienced in your life are likely holding you back from getting the results you are trying so hard to achieve.

 

A lot of this information is not main stream, and it's not your fault. We just haven't been taught these things which is why it's so much of a struggle.

 

The biggest missing piece that is overlooked is really addressing the underlying hormone issues. For example, if you've had a hysterectomy due to fibrioids, and after the surgery you feel your symptoms have improved. Yet now 4 years later you start to experience different symptoms of the underlying hormone issue that wasn't addressed.

 

We also fail to take into account different stressful situations that we have dealt with and how they affect our results now. If you've had to deal with a divorce, stress with a job, trauma, all of these things affect the results you are currently getting.

 

I'm going to dive further into all of these things in this episode!
