After years and years of people requesting my effortless french (canadian) girl hairstyle on Instagram, I finally caved in and prepared this quick tutorial for you guys. I’ve been meaning to do a video like this for so long but thought my getting ready process might be too easy to show here? Anyhow, here it is, in all its simpleness.
This wavy, simple hair tutorial is very quick and approchable, if you are looking for a chic hairstyle that doesn’t look to “done”. I am a fan of the undone look and when my hair look like I just rolled out of bed. Is it because I am lazy? Mostly, but I also enjoy a natural look over one that is too put together. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial!
I’ve been told countless times I look like the HAIM sisters and to be honest, I’m not mad about it. I wish I could secretly get in the band and hang out with them in California. I also play guitar, which could be useful, you know. I must also admit that I peep their Instagram a lot these days for style inspiration. This one was completely inspired by them, no shame.
I was inspired by That’s Chic (a blogger/youtuber I really like) to show you guys my take on the 10-Step Korean skincare routine with only Western products I’ve been using and loving. You don’t have to do this everyday and keep it mind that you can play around with the regimen and explore what works best for you. I personally enjoy to do the whole process once or twice a month, when I have time to pamper myself and when I feel that my skin needs a little boost.
Let me know if you ever tried it and what performed well for you. You’ll see, your skin is going to feel extra nourished after the regimen.
Finally, time to put on dresses and go out to enjoy Summer. I’ve put together a Lookbook for you guys that includes 5 summer dresses to not miss out on for the hot season. Learn how to style these different pieces by layering them or wearing them with accessories. I personally love the idea of a leather jacket or a shirt tied over a polka-dot dress. I’ve worn all of these with Cowboy boots because, like you may already know, it will be my Summer uniform, all day everyday.
Not too long ago, I mentioned on my Instagram story that I was looking for a pair of Cowboy boots. I have actually never owned a proper pair and I knew that if I got a good one, I was going to be able to style them with pretty much every dress I own, therefore making any outfit look decent with minimum effort (which I am always a fan of).
I found those at Topshop and I thought they were pretty rad. A lot of people actually think they are vintage since they have a certain edge. I tried wearing them with multiple dresses and they fit with everything so, sorry in advance for me wearing them all summer long and you guys getting bored of them. Official Summer 2k18 uniform.
Finally an updated GRWM version Spring 2018, in which I show you guys how I do my everyday skincare and makeup. As you may know, I like to keep it light and natural, since I have never been a fan of foundation or heavy makeup. I only wear it when I have a big night, aka a gala or a bal. It must be my french side but I put more emphasis on my skincare, so that I have to wear less products on my face. I enjoy when skin looks like skin, if this makes any sense.

I had the pleasure to style this outfit a year ago in Las Vegas, before its release. When at Project (the tradeshow), we always get to see what will come out in stores a year prior- it makes us look forward to those pieces we liked and also helps us choose which trends we will showcase on our blog the next year.
I was pretty happy that Scotch and Soda sent these pieces to me when they finally hit the stores, so that I can wear them again in real life. I’ve always been a fan of wearing a PJ 24/7, and this matching set kind of makes me believe I am. It’s a win-win situation, if you ask me.
I spend almost an entire month away from home. I was gone from February 8th to March 1st and it was a really great experience. I discovered that I really love Montreal and don’t really want to move out- although I always thought I would move to Los Angeles. I also came to the conclusion that travelling is essential for me and that spending a few months away from my usual routine is something I truly need to stay creative.
I vlogged a normal day in Los Angeles while I was away so you guys can see what my life there was all about. Press play and let me know your thoughts!
Polka dots- they come and go every other year or so. Sometimes I find them repulsive and sometimes I embrace the trend like there is no tomorrow. My wardrobe is now full or those little dots, in every form, shape and size.
On another topic, since I am now back to brunette, I enjoy playing a little bit more with my makeup. I used to be careful on what I was wearing on my eyelids and lips, since pink or red can easily be a little over the top when you are a blond. The barbie look is not something I ever aimed for, hence why I was shying away from colors. Still, now that I am darker, it is fun to experiment and try new things, like this copper shade from Maybelline. I know a lot of people are snobing Maybelline, but their eye palettes and eye shadows are always my favorites. Trust, they are good.
