Hello, I’m excited to be part of this community!
My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 5, but I really got started when I was 16 and diagnosed with ME/CFS and was bedridden 95% of the time! 28 years later I still love it and all crafts!! I work full-time from home, (mostly from bed), as a Scentsy consultant, and crochet to relax! I’ve made tons of afghans, gifts and baby blankets for other people, some of my own design, but have never written the patterns down! I’m starting to do that though and hope to have a creation to share soon!!
Hi! I am the designer and blogger behind Itchin’ for some Stitchin’ where I share my passion for crochet, sewing, and knitting. I am also the wife to a wonderful man, a step-mom to 4 beautiful step-daughters and the mommy to one amazing toddler boy. Life is grand!
I am new to forums so it may take me a bit to get adjusted, but I am glad to be here!
Hey. I found this partial pattern on Pinterest. It’s in Chinese and I can’t seem to find the original anywhere . I would love to find the original so I can purchase it . Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Hello from the Czech Republic,
we would like to invite you to our new website knitting.cz
We created the site with my boyfriend for my mommy, who has been involved in crocheting, knitting and various creative activities all her life.
The site was to serve only as a blog with mum’s projects at the beginning. However, in the end a comprehensive social network was created, especially for lovers of handicrafts, but also
cooking, reviewing, discussing. You can add your own projects with us (with or without patterns), recipes, create new groups and discussions, products to
review, add posts and comments. If you like our site, we will be very happy you to join us.
We look forward to your visit.
Have a nice day,
I joined just this morning and am already seeking advice. I’m currently working on a mini C2C afghan for my brother. I can’t stop now because I’m in too deep as they say. The afghan is very time consuming with all of the color changes. I was wondering, for my next project, about using double crochet (2 dc per pixel). Does anyone have experience with this method? And is it reversible? I can find a lot of C2C help online, but there’s not a lot for the DC method. Any advice or help would be appreciated. :)
