ConnectSense’s IoT 80/20™ platform helps manufacturers and OEMs affordably enable their products for the Internet of Things. The 80% is the common functionality needed by all customers, a reusable solution provided by ConnectSense, and the remaining 20% is customized for each individual product/OEM. IoT 80/20 is based on the Amazon Web Service (AWS) platform, which has low monthly fees and can easily scale up as product sales improve. The newest smart plug works seamlessly with Siri (Apple HomeKit), Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to allow users to easily control and monitor their everyday plug-in devices, such as lights, fans and other small appliances.
The Smart Outlet² now supports Android, in addition to iOS, and can be accessed remotely through the ConnectSense app for real-time updates of your plug-in devices. With two separately controlled outlets and a USB charging port, Smart Outlet ² fits over any existing standard North American electrical outlet.
