Low Fat Milk: One cup of low fat milk can provide up to 1.2 mcg of vitamin B12.

Fortified Cereals: The level of vitamin B12 in fortified cereals can vary, but what makes them a great option is their bioavailability. That means the vitamins can be easily absorbed.

Eggs: One large egg contains 0.6 mcg of vitamin B12.

Fortified Nutritional Yeast: Vegans love fortified nutritional yeast for its delicious, cheesy flavour, and it’s also a source of vitamin B12! 1 tablespoon has roughly 40% the recommended daily value.

Egg Yolk and Coconut Mask

Ingredients:

1 egg yolk
3 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. honey

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Apply the hair mask evenly throughout damp hair, making sure to cover your ends. Place hair in a towel or shower cap and leave mask in for 30 minutes. Wash out with shampoo and conditioner.

Avocado Banana Mask

Ingredients:

1/2 ripe banana
1/2 ripe avocado
1 tsp. honey

Directions: Mash the banana and avocado in a large bowl until smooth. Add the honey and mix well. Apply to dry hair and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well with shampoo and conditioner.

Banana Yogurt Bee Pollen Mask

Ingredients:

1 banana, sliced
2 tbsp. plain yogurt
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. bee pollen powder

Directions: Blend all ingredients in a blender or mash the banana in a bowl and whisk all ingredients together until well mixed. Apply the hair mask throughout damp hair and cover with a towel or shower cap. Let sit for 30 minutes and then rinse out thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.

1. In a coffee mug, pour in the hot water and make a paste by slowly adding the moringa powder. Stir until dissolved.
2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk until bubbling, then pour over the moringa paste.
3. Add coconut palm sugar as desired for a touch of sweetness.
4. Stir well, and enjoy!
