The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® has served as the “Voice of Real Estate” in Central Alabama since 1911, issuing statistical analysis of market conditions, offering legislative support to its members and the industry at large and serving as the premier resource for all things real estate in Birmingham and Central Alabama.

February 24, 2017 — The Birmingham Association of REALTORS is relocating its staff and services to a temporary office located at 1510 5th Ave S., Birmingham, AL 35233 due to interior flooding and water damage at its facility. Details regarding reopening will be announced. Member service is a top priority, so we’ve made the following arrangements to continue addressing your needs and questions:
Office hours will remain 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the temporary location, 1510 5th Ave S., Birmingham, AL 35233.
For service or to reach any staff, continue to call (205) 871-1911, which will be forwarded to the temporary location.
All education classes will be relocated to a new location (TBD). Existing class registrants will be contacted regarding times and location of their class.

Mark your calendar for these Feb. 14 and Feb. 27 certification courses. In conjunction with the Birmingham Association of REALTORS®, the Alabama Association of REALTORS® is offering its Professional Property Management Certification. The instructor is Bo Goodson.
Course One: Establishing and Developing a Professional Property Management Company will be taught from 8 a.m. until noon Feb. 14 at AAR’s Capitol Conference in Montgomery, AL. The conference will be at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa, and the course is included in the $175 conference registration fee.
Course Two: Investment Analysis of Income Properties ($69, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and Course Three: Leasing and Managing Income Properties ($69, 1-5 p.m.) are being taught at the Birmingham Association of REALTORS® office.
You may take one, two or all three of these courses, if you’d like. To earn the certification, all three courses must be taken, but they do not have to be taken in any particular order.
On Dec. 8, 2016, at the Alabama Theatre, the Birmingham Association of REALTORS inaugurated our 2017 officers.
