One of the unique thing about Harley's Beef Burgers are the ability for the customers to customize further, i.e you can load up your burgers with add on such as panner cheese, cheddar cheese, additional onions, pickles and so forth. You can also add in additional beef patties too to overload your burgers.
From Harley's Burger and Roaster menu, you can start off with a 2X2 (RM15.00), 3X3 (RM20.50) , 4X4 (RM26.00) and 5X5 (RM31.50) burgers and topped it up with your favourite condiments and so forth. For us, we loaded it with a slice of paneer cheese.
Next on is the Chicken Burgers (RM9.50). The patties is a whole piece of de-boned chicken thigh. It has a nice crispy skin on the outside while the meat has a tender succulent texture. The buns that are used for the burgers are home-made by Harley's.
After that, we had the Harley's Fried Chicken (RM10.00 for 2 pcs). As with the chicken burgers, the fried chicken are of the same quality with a nice crunchy crispy skin. We were made to understand that this is due to the usage of non-frozen chicken to produce this result.
For kids, Popcorn Chicken (RM6.50) will make it great for them. The de-boned chicken is only lightly batter making a difference as there is more meat in this popcorn chicken unlike some other place which has a thick batter.
For those Korean Fried Chicken fans, might like to try out the Hot Wings (RM10.00 for 2 pcs). The fried chicken wings is coated with a layer of hot chilli sauce which takes away the crispness to the chicken skin. I personally favoured the original Harley's Fried Chicken.
Other side orders that you can order is French Fries, Coleslaw, but we made an order of Chilli Con Carne for a change to pair with our burgers and fried chicken.

Needless to say, we make a second order of this dish.
Next on our list is d' Vinegar Pork Leg RM15.00. There is a slight variation from my standard Vinegar Pork as I am more used to the version without dried chillies. We find that it gives a slightly spicy taste to the sauce. We like it as the taste of vinegar was strong and immersed into the pork leg which has a nice soft chewy texture. It comes together with a boiled egg.
Our third dish is the d' Peanut Pork RM23.00. This is another dish that we like, The peanuts and pork are braised for hours to enable both the ingredient to extract out its natural taste to the sauce. Another dish which is great with steam white rice.
For those that like braised pork dishes will find this d' Munch Braised RM15.00 a complete meal by itself which comes with a combination of pork innards parts with Taufoo and eggs.
Next is the d' Pork Innard Soup RM16.00; a peppery soup that is cooked with salted mustard leaf. A nice option for a cool evening to warm up your little tummy.
The last main dish is the d' Mui Choy Pork Sliced RM8.00.
Besides the main dishes, you can order the ala-carte d' Braised Pork Rice RM8.00. The minced pork braised meat is laid on top of the steaming white rice and then topped with a sunny side up with green vegetables at the side.

DROP EXCHANGE RESTAURANT @ SOLARIS MONT KIARA Kuala Lumpur Indian Persian Cuisine
Traditionally, you will find that watering holes usually serve Western-style dishes, but at DROP EXCHANGE, it is probably one of the few that serves Indian dishes in Klang Valley. We are quite surprised that it does pair quite palatable with the spicy dishes. To start off the night, we tasted the offering of appetizer which goes well with some cold beers.
The first appetizer is the Homemade Cottage Cheese Chargrill (RM 27.00). The cottage cheese is marinated with spices, curd and cream. It is then baked in the tandoor to provide a balance char that enhances the taste of the cottage cheese.
This is then followed by the second appetizer which is Chicken Tikka (RM30.00). The chef coats the chicken with hung curd, together with special Indian herbs and spices and then grilled in the tandoor to a right char.
The third appetizer is the Galouti Kebabs (RM 28.00). For those that love the taste of lamb; will relish on this dish. This is a combination of toasted minced mutton that is layered with bread. It is served with fresh coconut chutney as a dipping sauce.
The last appetizer is the Cutlis (RM 25.00); a vegetarian dish which comprises of vegetable cutlet coated with bread crumbs and deep-fried to a nice crisp on the outside and soft texture on the inside.
After the appetizer, we ordered a couple of Mains dishes from the menu; the first of which is Salli Ma Margi (RM 25.00). This curry dish is of Persian origin; which has a strong combination flavour of spices and herb. The chicken meat was tender with the thick gravy superbly matched with the pav that is served with this dish.
The second main course is Papeta Par Edu (RM 15.00). It is a Parsi-style tomato onion masala dish which is topped with a sunny-side-up egg and served with Pav which you can eat with the gravy. For meat lovers, you can have an add on of Chicken at RM4.00.
Next on, we had the Tandoori Butter Chicken (RM 28.00). The chicken meat is first marinated with curd and spices that you can taste it in the freshly grilled tender and juicy meat from the charcoal tandoor. This dish is served with soft Rumali bread.
The next dish is the Rogan Josh (RM 40.00). This is one of the more popular Kashmiri dishes; this lamb curry is a deep red spicy mutton dish cooked with spices and yoghurt. This dish is served with a choice of Basmati rice or bread. But personally, I prefer rice as it blended the taste of the curry to the rice.
The last main course we had is the Dal Makhani (RM 30.00) This is a vegetarians dish which is quite popular in India, this lentils dish is cooked by simmering butter and cream or yoghurt, over low heat to perfection.
Ending our meals, are three desserts; the first of which is a milk-based Gulab Jamun (RM12.00) a traditional South Asian sweet in pistachio cream & nuts.
The second dessert is Kulfi (RM 15.00) which is a traditional Indian homemade ice cream.
And the final dessert is Rabadi (RM 22.00). An Indian delicacy in sugar syrup-sweetened milk with cardamom and saffron. The only downside for me is I am not a sweet tooth as I personally find Indian based dessert on the sweeter end. But for those that have a sweet tooth will relish on the dessert offering at Drop Exchange Restaurant.

We are looking forward to our very first trip to London to visit my dear sister and a holiday in London and Barcelona. My daughter has booked the Qatar Airways as she was hoping to let us have an enjoyable long flight as her experience of Qatar was a pleasant experience and also regarded as a premium airline (awarded the Skytrak World Airlines 2018).
How Qatar Airways Almost Screw Up My London/Barcelona holiday - Flight Delayed - Flight Cancelled
Our flight was scheduled to depart at 2.25am and ETA to London at 130pm with a stopover transit at Doha. We did a web check-in and arrive at the airport at 12am and check in our luggage for flight number QR 853 codeshare with Malaysian Airlines and Iberia Airline after about 20 min.

Proceeded to the terminal for boarding. At 2.00am an announcement was broadcast that the plane will be delayed to 3.00am due to some technical issue on the plane Airbus A330.
Then things go downhill from here. At 310am, an announcement was made that the plane is now delayed until 5am. Meals vouchers in the form of a burger king burger and a cup of tea were given to each of us.
QATAR Airways Flight Cancelled
Upon our reboarding at 550am, a broadcast that the flight QR 853 has been cancelled, arrangement for a hotel stay at Saujana Hotel Subang was broadcast, no mention on what time the flight will be.
We approach the boarding desk to ask for a replacement flight which the staff were not able to commit to. The staff keep keying in-flight option but no firm commitment was made and neither were there any re-issuance of flights on other airlines. Many attempts to talk to the person in charge fall in vain. The boarding counter staff were just checking alternate flights for some guests. We had the worry, lost anxiety, stress and above all not knowing when we will be able to fly to London.
At 7 pm, it finally reaches my time at the boarding counter, after checking the staff said there are 2 flight out of KL, One is at 9.50am by MAS and another is Emirates, it was a slight relief as there was some hope. The staff say she can't do anything and ask to go to the ticketing counter at the check-in counter on level 5 which means we have to exit immigration and collect our baggage hopefully with the hope of getting these ticket.
I have to run all the way to the train and pass immigration and proceed to level 5 Qatar Airways ticketing office at 7.20am. Upon my arrival at the ticketing counter on Level 5, one of the passengers got a ticket reissue to MH004 which is a direct flight to London and said there were around 43 seats left on this flight. A sudden relieve of hope enlighten my tired souls. Much to the chagrin, minutes after minutes the hope seems diminishing as they were none of the other passengers ahead of the queue got any reprieve from getting any tickets. My hope has now turn into agony and by now after waiting for more than an hour was totally dismayed by the inaction of the staff.
By now I have been awake for more than 24 hours (another first in my life). I was getting anxious as the clock strikes 8.35am as boarding time will close in less than 60 minutes before flights. Worst is the counter staff being unresponsive and went missing. If they are at the counter they either use the computer to check heaven knows what or they are always on a phone talking to heaven knows who.
While feeling hopeless and chatting with others in the line of the queue, one of the passengers told me that some passenger got their ticket to other flights at the Qatar Airways Airline office in level 4. I decided to make a dash to the Qatar Airways Airline office. Upon reaching there, I could see 4 fellows stranded passenger there and a quick check with them was similar, the staff are looking at it. My patience by now has gone up to the roof. I decided to call out the staff and for once I have raised my voice of despair, agony and the lackadaisical attitude of the Qatar Airways ground staff and demanded that they get the 3 of us on board that MH004.
By that time it is already 8.50am, a senior staff came to see the commotion and I told him that I have to be on that MH004. For once, there was a light at the end of the rainbow moment. I was then told to wait as while the arrangement is made. After 5 minutes a staff named Aliff appear and ask me to follow him to the 5th floor, I was then rejoined by my wife and son which has collected all our luggage. He brought us to the Malaysian Airlines Standby counter where we manage to check in to MH004 at 910am and baggage check-in via Bulky Baggage check-in. You cannot believe the relief we felt at that very moment when hope shines on us and the joy we felt.
Soon we were at the boarding gate C16. Upon finally check in, we were seated on the last row of the Boeing 350 row 40, the feeling was so surreal and our lost hope was enlightened. We will reach London Heathrow at 435pm, a final delay of 3.5 hours after all the hassle and stress. The question is do we really have to get to this level to get what we paid for. Airlines should be able to manage the contingency plan without letting the customer down. After all, we are full fare paying customers; we deserve better. This innovative dining experience aims to excite guests via a special immersive projection technology display as you watch Le Petit Chef prepare each dishes which are crafted out by Michelin-starred chef, Jeff Ramsey igniting one’s sight and sound senses.
Our 4-course meals start off with soup which is Bouillabaisse - Ingredients in this soup is Sea Bream, Hokkaido Scallop and Venus Clam with Crab on a Prawn Bisque with Citrus Buerre Blanc

and for the main course, we were served the Le Beouf which is an A5 Wagyu Beef with Bordelaise Sauce, Pommes al a Robuchon, Charred Brocolli & Kombu Butter Glazed Carrot.
The final course is a dessert which is Milk and Caramel Fantasy. Malted Vanilla Ice Cream with Caramelized Milk, Aerated Valrhona 70% Dark Chocolate & Strawberry Orange Blossom Sauce for a sweet ending.
