Hello everyone! It's Kelly here today sharing a summer layout created with the Let's Go on an Adventure collection:
This collection is probably one of my favorites. I love the outdoorsy theme, and had so much fun picking out all of the lake details that were perfect for this photo of my son playing at Lake Michigan.
The acrylic word title sat perfectly on the Ciao Chip sticker, and I accented the whole thing on a large circle mat.
The journaling tag is from the Splash Zone collection, which I thought fit in nicely.
I hope you're documenting all of your summer adventures...thanks for stopping by today!

Sarah back here today to share with you a layout I made about one of my little guys and his birthday. You will notice with this layout, I used color photos. I know crazy!! I never use color photos. I used color photos this time because its the only way I had these. I lost my SD card in one of my moves and had these printed from years ago, so I decided to use them the way they were.
He turned 3 and was so sick, but his fever had finally broke so I wanted to do a little something before his birthday party the next weekend. So we went and got some cupcakes and his and his brother had a cupcake war in the front yard and they had a blast!
I started this layout by actually getting the photos arranged the way I wanted, stuck them together and went to adding the layers behind them. I grabbed the ephemera packs that went with the Wish Big boy collection, along with the ciao chip icons and started to pull pieces that I thought I might wanna use on this layout. Once I did that I thought, well maybe I should get the background started. I was doing everything backwards with this layout, lol.
I pulled a few papers and decided I wanted this layout to be centered across the middle of the page. I chose the papers I wanted and went to work arranging them the way I wanted. I changed it a few times, but decided on the cute little animals in the back bottom layer. I wanted the stripes, I love pattern, so I knew I wanted that paper as well, but there needed to be a little break between the two busy layers. I grabbed the teal tone on tone paper and added a strip of that between the layers and stuck it down and ruffled up the edges of them before I moved on.
Ok, so I have the background done and had my photos with there layers, so I added 3D adhesive behind those and placed them to the right of the layout, since my son was facing the left in one photo and straight on in the other.
So now I had my photos where I wanted them and knew I could start embellishing and that's what I did. I soo wanted to use that cute little dino with his cute little party hat on, so I tucked him under my photo to the left, added a cake and some balloons and moved on to adding cupcakes to the right of my photos and some little hearts. I loved the sayings on the stickers and ephemera pieces so I decided to pop some of those in there as well. I added two tabs at the top of my photo cluster and then went for the title. I love, love, LOVE Bella's acrylic words and this made my title extremely easy! I added it and then added boy on top of the acrylic Birthday word, with some of the Illustrated Faith homespum alpha stickers. Popped a few of the star stickers from the sticky mix sheet and that was it for this layout!

Hello, Bella Blvd. friends! Tessa Buys here with a fun and functional project for celebrating birthdays featuring the darling Wish Big collection.
Keeping track of birthdays for all your friends and family can be daunting, but this method will allow you to stay organized and include some memory keeping as well. I made a Rolodex-style card for each month of the year using patterned papers, Florence alphas, acrylic words, die-cuts, and cardstock stickers from the Wish Big collection.
As a fun addition to some of the cards, I added my favorite party decor staple—crepe paper streamers!
Here are some ideas for recording all of your important dates:
1. Make a blank card for each month on which you can list the birthdays for that month.
2. Trim a photo of the birthday boy or girl into a card and write or use stickers to add their birthday to the photo. You can update as the years go by if you’d like.
3. Save tags or memorabilia from birthday parties and add them to the tray.
I love when something can be decorative and functional, so this fun tray is a welcome addition to my desk that’s going to keep me on my toes for all the birthdays coming up. Be sure to pick up the Wish Big collection to make one of your own. Happy creating!
Hi Bella friends! Tegan here today! I am excited to share all of the fun I am having creating with Bella Blvd's new cut files! I wanted to document a picture of my niece turning five, so I also grabbed the adorable Wish Big Girl collection. The fun icons and colors are perfect for documenting little girl birthdays!
I started by creating a background design in my diecut machine software using the number 5 from the Bella Blvd Florence alpha cut file. I then backed my background with pink, yellow, and teal patterned papers from the Wish Big Girl collection. I hope you LOVE this number 5 background design as much as I do! :)
I then enlarged the Bella Blvd 'celebrate' cut file in my diecut machine software. I used fun coordinating floral and check print patterned papers from the Mom Life and Island Escape collections to cut out parts of the word and then pieced them together. I then adhered the word onto a dark blue cut out 'celebrate' so it would really pop against the white. I love how it turned out!
I then decorated the page with lots of sweet embellishments from the Wish Big Girl collection like the cute birthday party hippo ephemera piece and the fun chipboard cupcake and candles! I love adding finishing touches to my pages with enamel dots and puffy star stickers too!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the Bella Blvd cut files and Wish Big collection to create a fun design on your next layout!

This week the team is sharing projects using the Wish Big collection. I love the colors in the Wish Big Boy collection and of coarse with having 6 babies, I have a ton of birthday photos to document. I like to go a little crazy when it comes to my kids parties! For Eli's 2nd birthday I did a crab theme and it was absolutely adorable. I have so many photos from this day that still have not been scrapped...please tell me I am not alone on this one! He is now 6! I thought this collection would be perfect with a couple of his photos!
I backed this cut file from Cut To You with papers from the Wish Big collection. I love all these candles and wanted to get a lot of color and pattern on my layout. Cut files are a great way to do this. I pop all the cut files up on some foam adhesive.
This collection is perfect for documenting any party and comes with so many cute embellishments! I used the Ciao Chip, ephemera and some Bella Blvd. Blueberry puffy hearts! The photos are of Eli opening his favorite gift of two stuffed Olaf's and the other photo is of him sharing a bite of his mini crab cake pop with one of his big brothers! And just look at his hair! He had the best head of hair and I did cut it shortly after his 2nd birthday! Here is a look at my completed layout using the Wish Big collection!
I hope you are inspired to get some older photos documented with the fabulous Bella collections! Thanks so much for stopping by and remember to come back tomorrow for more inspiration.

Being the mom of two boys, it is not often that I get to use lots of pink or girly embellishments on my projects. When I do get the chance, I go a little overboard! Today I am sharing a 12" x 12" layout that I put together using Bella Blvd's Wish Big Girl birthday collection to document this little gal turning 5 years old!
My process for putting together this layout began with choosing a big title. Have you noticed how popular the big titles are lately? I love them! I had to mix it up a bit by adding a little dimension with some Ciao Chip letters and an Acrylic Word surrounded by some of those cute little heart stickers from the Florence Alphabet Stickers.
I tend to add a lot of embellishments to my layouts, sometimes I have to hold myself back so I have some left over for the next layout. Doesn't everyone take a zillion birthday pictures? Seriously though, it's really easy when you are working with such great product that is super cute! This little colorful heart cluster at the top of my layout was the final touch to complete this layout.
This page was based on a page I created for a well known kit club in 2015. With the focus of this week being 'Wish Big & Birthdays' and me coming to the end of my Wish Big products, it meant I had to be creative for today's assignment. My choice to scrap lift this particular page was inspired by the diagonal paper pieces, which I could translate into a creative way to use up paper strips I had left over from Wish Big, Borders.
Laying them side by side with a little space in between helps reduce the busy-ness of the patterns. Don't you love the subtle texture machine stitching adds to the strips? I think this is by far my most fave signature technique on my pages :D
Placing two different titles either side of the photo cluster along the diagonal, helps balance color, as well as keeping the cohesion of the design in tact. The diagonals are instrumental in drawing the readers eye towards the photographs which is the focal point of the page, so my thoughts are to have the titles blend seamlessly into the layout instead of 'disrupting' the flow.
Dimension is imperative for this type of page; I achieved that by layering the photos onto a vellum and tissue paper mat. Being opaque means they add height & interest without being distracting. Further height and pops of color are created by raising multiple chipboard pieces under the photo cluster. A fussy cut banner, puffy stars adhered to paper clips and enamel dots add tactile bits and the circle sticker with it's red 7, add to the story telling. Each little piece playing a role in the design.
Now, because I am all for a good chunk of journaling on my pages...I used the bottom edge to do so. It allowed me space without jeopardizing the balance of the layout and including a visual anchor, means your eye automatically travels there after looking at the photos.
The result is a fun page that screams birthday, a perfect addition to my son's birthday album. It was great going back and capturing past photos...injecting fresh product and design among-st my older pages. Thank you Bella Blvd for your fabulous products. With Splash Zone having so many fun water-related products, it would be easy to overlook the regular summer products in there too! Today I wanted to take the time to highlight those, specifically the pineapples and plants :). Christine joining you today with a layout that is "As Sweet As a Pineapple."
As I was looking through the Splash Zone cut files, the pineapple jumped out at me! It's such an easy design to back with patterned paper and make it stand out! Having decided that I wanted to play with that, I built my layout around it! I cut it out and added foam adhesives to the white border. Then I added my patterned paper triangles also with foam adhesives underneath them. I LOVE how it turned out and how it gives you the opportunity to use several of the fun papers!
While I used four different papers in the actual pineapple, I opted to just make the leaves for it one color. At first, I thought I'd do white but it didn't pop as I wanted it to, so I went with the Pickle Juice green instead!
I built my layers on the layout using the same patterned papers. First, I offset my white base onto the sunshine patterned paper to form the entire base. Then I used the other three colors beneath my picture, adding in some tearing and distressing!
Stickers and ephemera and acrylic pieces and Ciao Chip took center stage for embellishing. I love how seamlessly they all combine to help you pull a project together with interesting texture and dimension.
Let's take a close-up look at how this all came together in a process video:
SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT - Splash Zone with Bella Blvd - YouTube
Hey Bella Friends! It's Leanne here today sharing my latest Bella Blvd layout using the absolutely fun new collection, Splash Zone!
This week the Bella Team have been integrating Splash Zone cut files into our projects and I chose to play with the Family Fun design (ID#296861) from the Silhouette Design Store.
After cutting the design out from white cardstock, I layered the Word Jumble patterned paper behind the open "FUN" window to create interest and to add some whimsy to the page.
I really wanted the cut file to be big and bold to use as my title. To help achieve this, I added small clusters of Ephemera Icons to the top of the title and at the bottom to draw attention to it.
To exaggerate the layers in these clusters, I have mounted some of the Ephemera Icons onto foam dots.
I have kept the page relatively simple by letting the cut file title and my photo tell the story. To finish off the page I added a small layered tag to the top of the layout, making sure I have used similar colours in each cluster.
Thanks for visiting the Bella Blvd blog today. Don't forget to complement your creative projects with Bella Blvd's patterned paper collections coordinating cut files. They can bring a whole new dimension to your memory keeping.
