Mercury in the 11th house - Diamonds in the Mind

Mercury in the 11th have brainwaves that tap into the collected thoughts of humanity like it tunes a moving radio signal. Most of the time she knows what people are going to say, and her service is finding the words that people are looking for. This makes the individual a ‘voice’ for the voiceless with a keen interest in bringing new ideas to the forte that benefit and support her community. She is the fairy blue bird that keeps the lines of communication between her vast group of friends and delights in a productive exchange of ideas. Some people may be offset by her eccentric opinions or peculiar style of interaction, but those who have a meaning in her life view these qualities as being special rather than strange. Friends and loved ones fall in love with the free spirit within, she is a breath of fresh air that is unafraid to dream the impossible dream and believe in every possibility. She is still quite young when she discovers a painful truth of her reality - that most people are simply not ready to hear, nor understand her message. And she also comes to a premature realisation that most other people do not think like her, nor do they share her way of concern and compassion.

Mercury in the 11th is the revolutionary mind. The wings of Hermes ascend to the realm of Heavenly Ideas to experiment with all the ways that her wisdom can be scattered across humanity like word confetti. The 11th house also relates to higher mediums of communication, so the individual may play with different communicative mediums like symphonies, song lines, symbols, or even comedy and satirical humour to transmit her message to the audience like telepathy.
Early education may have been quite trialling with Mercury in the 11th. Uranus is the ruler of the 11th house and the higher octave of Mercury, so this placement signifies a unique strand of intelligence that cannot be measured nor defined. There is only one mind like this in a lifetime. The attention is dialled into higher dimensions and fails to operate on command, so it can make lessons at school very mundane and disinteresting in comparison. There is a muse that resides permanently in this head that may inspire prodigious talent and strokes of genius. But this can come at a cost, possibly through some form of mental instability, tick, compulsion, or anxiety that teases her sanity, interferes with another area of life, or creates a sense of isolation. A close group of friends is the tonic that quells her feelings of being an outsider.  Establishing a trusted circle that she can be her weirdest self around, openly converse with, and vent when she needs is nourishing to her whole spirit. The 11th house is also the home of benefactors and philanthropists. It’s possible that she will be monetarily supported, mentored, or sponsored while she studies, practices, or creates her craft by those who believe in her brilliance. The 11th house Goddesses drink from the nectar of immortal youth, so her ideas and style of conduct makes people feel young again. And they may even feel young and reckless enough to take a risk on her potential success.

Mercury in the 11th people capture other people’s thoughts like literal speech bubbles popping over the head. She may be quite media savvy because she wants to know what the world is thinking. It stems from a deep fascination with the human mind and understanding how it operates, almost like she is collecting data on behalf of another species. This can also make for a skilled counsellor or psychotherapist because she can observe people and behaviour from an objective and non-reactionary standpoint. But this quality doesn’t make the stories, troubles, or afflictions that people choose to share with her any easier to hear. She is very issued to taking other people’s problems home inside her head and resolving them while the person is left to sleep. From the skies above the Gods can see this mind glowing like a halo, and they rest assured knowing this light will catch any message, sign, or transmission that could ever be delivered from heaven

Saturn Charmed
Saturn as most elevated planet, Saturn aspecting many planets, Capricorn, Aquarius or 10th, 11th house significance, prominence of chart ruler Capricorn rising, Aquarius rising

The person can brutally underestimate or understate worth, production, and talent. This is despite displaying a natural brilliance and expertise in a certain field or pursuit that receives widespread recognition and accreditation. Academics theorised through their study that people required on average around 6 positive comments for every negative insult, but these people are subconsciously resistive to any praise. They heard you. They were listening. But nothing moved. They do not measure themselves against the average. They measure themselves against a tiny proportion of the best there has ever been in all of the history of the venture’s existence. For example, the everyday person may consider the person’s ability to draw and their artistry quite special and remarkable. But this person can see scribble on a page next to Michelangelo. There is no external credit they could receive that mimics what they truly desire - the nod of approval from the highest self who knows what the quality should be and what the potential is
