Lake Oak Meadows has been one of my favorite wedding locations since I have started this journey of being a wedding photographer. We have had the honor of photographing many weddings there over the years, and I absolutely LOVE this venue. It is a place of endless photographic opportunities and is always beautiful!
Ilyssa and Kyle’s wedding was no exception. This couple is darling and sweet to say the least. Kyle is so tender toward Ilyssa and she is all smiles and full of joy. I am excited to share their wedding with you!
This wedding was a pure joy to photograph! Not only was it incredible to spend the weekend in Santa Barbara, I got to witness this precious, long-time friend of mine marry the man of her dreams. I have watched Lyndsey grow up and I can truly say she is a beauty (inside and out)! Her dynamic and humorous personality lights up every room she enters and it is a joy to know her. The vows that she and Steve shared at the Santa Barbara Courthouse were so incredibly genuine that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. I just love it when weddings are all about the union of two souls and their love for one another.
– Rubén and Tori’s Wedding at Hillside Community Church –
Tori has been a part of my family since she was a young teenager. I trusted her to watch my precious boys when they were little. I said farewell to her when she went off to college. I witnessed her travel the world as she sought to do God’s work, ministering to the poor and needy. I saw her fall in love with a Peruvian. And now I have had the opportunity to photograph her wedding vows to man who stole her heart, Rubén. To be honest, it is hard to let her go! She and Rubén will build their lives together in Peru, continuing their purpose to do what God has called them to do. It was an honor, though, to photograph their wedding. I got to see how he treasured her! And she is equally as smitten with him. Even though their cultures are worlds apart, they found a love that is genuine and true.
Their wedding took place at Hillside Community Church in Rancho Cucamonga on the hottest day of the summer this year! I loved photographing here at my home church. Thankfully, the heat was bearable with lots of doses of air conditioning in between shooting different parts of the day. I chose just to share a few pictures of the wedding because I really wanted to highlight the bride and groom. Hopefully, you, too, can experience their sweet love for one another!
Hands down this has to be one of my all time favorite weddings. Not because the decorations were amazing or the location was unique… It was because the couple was so spectacular! Their beautiful story was (and is) covered in God’s finger prints. Their union as husband and wife has to be one of the sweetest I have ever witnessed. And I am delighted to share just a little bit of their story with you.
This bride and groom met later in life. Both in their late 30’s. They had journeyed through life wondering if God would EVER bring the right person to them. Both persevered and kept their eyes focused on the Lord. Neither one really dated. They just waited. And in God’s perfect timing they met each other!
I have witnessed and photographed a lot of people in love. Sadly, I can see when it is skin deep and I have reservations about whether their relationship will last. And then there are times that I witness a love between a couple that makes my heart smile. This couple, however, has a love for each other that truly touched me at my core. It was pure and righteous, and it honored God more then themselves. Simply put, it was just beautiful!
A Beautiful Wedding at Strawberry Farms Golf Course
It is an honor to be a part of the Strawberry Farms family. We love shooting at this venue and working with their incredible staff. Whitney and Nick’s wedding last fall was a wonderful celebration! I love what Pamela (with the French Bouquet) did with her flowers. The whispy-things at the ceremony site were stunning! And so was Whitney’s dress. I am excited to finally share this wedding on the Blog!
Brianna and Chris’ wedding was fresh and organic and SO much fun! Truly a great group of people. This was my first time at The Ranch and I just LOVED it! This venue has recently remodeled and they really stepped up their game from what I heard. The property is classy yet rustic. Even though the ceremony site is in the middle of a golf course, you feel totally secluded in the trees. Jessica from Jessica Lauren Events did a fantastic job of organizing the day and the wedding details. I would say this wedding was a luxurious yet affordable wedding that touches all of the timeless trends that we see blossoming today in the wedding industry. Enjoy!
This was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever photographed at Hidden Oaks Retreat Center. Not because the couple was amazing (but they actually were!) or because the couple had stellar decor (it was still very cute!)… This wedding was beautiful for two reasons…. One, and most importantly, this bride and groom love the Lord, and that always makes things special for me. Second, they got married in December and Hidden Oaks had the best light EVER! That might not seem important to the average person, but to a photographer, it is everything! Enjoy!
Ponte Winery in Temecula is a gorgeous wedding venue! We have always enjoyed photographing at this location because of it’s beautiful vineyards and charming architecture. It is hard not to want to sneak away from the wedding and just enjoy the winery! haha Amanda and I always comment that we need to come and just spend an afternoon there. Maybe one day…
Sarah and Bruce’s November wedding was just stunning this past fall. The leaves were just starting to turn and the grounds were more beautiful than ever. It didn’t hurt that they are a darling couple… full of love for each other and their family!
This is hands down one of my all time favorite weddings! We always love photographing weddings at Padua Hills Theater but it was the couple that made this wedding so special. Alan and Andrea share the most purest of loves. It was an absolute treasure to photograph them and their family! I can’t tell you how many times Alan teared up during the wedding day, pulling out his pink hanky and saying “I’m so glad I have this handkerchief today!” His emotions throughout the day were precious. And Andrea responded with a twinkle in her eye that showed her utmost adoration for him. However, the best part of the day was knowing that the Lord was present. This couple has a deep devotion and affection for our Savoir and they celebrated their union in marriage with Him. It was a beautiful thing to witness and photograph. I hope you enjoy this wedding as much as we do!
