Toke Makinwa who jumped on the ‘material girl’ debate, has stated that a rich guy will never complain about women loving money.
According to Toke Makinwa it is always the gorrillas with coins that stick to the complaint. Read her Insta-story post below;
This is coming after the media personality revealed that her ideal man shouldn’t be rich. She made this known on her Twitterpage on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
“Today, in my thirties, the complete one for me doesn’t have to be rich, but he has to be able to take care of me she #Thecompleteone share yours? Your complete man should be…” she tweeted.
She also went on to call on those people who have continued to troll her about marriage, to show her where she can actually find one.
“All of you people on Twitter constantly telling me to go and find husband or go and marry need to complete your tweet with where they sell them,” she tweeted.
Toke Makinwa had also stated that marrying for money is lame, and she is yet to see anyone leave a bad marriage and do badly afterwards. See her post below:
“Staying in a domestic marriage because of financial gain or the lies you tell yourself about surviving is lame, I’m yet to see anyone leave a bad situation do badly, it’s the fear that keeps you from your potential.”
South Africa has increased its minimum wage to N126,480, as Nigeria still struggles with the N30K minimum wage demand by workers in the country.
President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa who disclosed that the new minimum wage will take full effect from January 1, 2019, added that it would benefit about six million workers that currently earn R3,700 (N97,495).
While one South African Rand exchanges for N26.35, this means that South African workers would be earning N527 per hour: N4,216 per day and N126,480 per month, while their Nigerian colleagues are currently earn N75 per hour, which is N600 per day (at eight working hours per day) and N18,000 per month. However if paid N30,000 as minimum wage, Nigerian workers would be earning N125 per hour or N1,000 per day, which amounts to N30,000 monthly.
WhileSouth Africa increased its minimum wage to N126,480, a Global Wage Report 2018/19 released yesterday, also revealed that the world’s wage growth also hit a 10-year low, the last of its kind being in 2007.
On the other hand, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President Ayuba Wabba said labour would soon meet to draw up a timetable within which government would be expected to conclude work on the new wage.
Fans of Ghanaian singer Becca are not happy with her after un-following everyone on Instagram, except her Nigerian husband.
For reasons best known to her, the ‘Daa ke Daa’ hitmaker had unfollowed her previously tall list of following including her boss, Nana Appiah Mensah of Zylofon, Nana Ama McBrown, Yvonne Okoro, Zynnel Zuh, Sarkodie, and many, many others.
This seems to have angered some of her friends and followers who feel disrespected by Becca. In a new video she posted to promote a new song she has sang with Patoranking, Becca urged her fans and followers to download the music and share it far and wide.
But instead of responding positively, some of the fans have asked Becca to go and play the song for her husband only to listen to it.
For instance, an Instagram user who felt peeved by Becca’s action, plainly told Becca to go and play the song for her husband alone, adding that Becca shouldn’t expect her fans to hype the song for her since she had unfollowed everyone:
i_am_me_naa: “You unfollowed everybody except ur hubby and u want us to hype your song for u…. Go and play it for ur husband alone nonsense @beccafrica.”
Bright also said he doesn’t understand why Becca would follow just her husband when she had over 1.3 million people following her:
brightgeorges: “I Dnt get it…. y ya get 1.2 million followers and u follow only one person.. sometimes follow ur fans.. it make their day and keep them addicted to everything you do.. @therealfunnyface follows me tho.. I luv that guy die…”
henry_1star: “We miss the old Becca we know. I think most of your fans are little disappointed in you. We don’t enjoy your song like before.”
wealthyvs: “@i_am_me_naa let’s just unfollow her too. These entertainers think they are better than everyone else. Nonsense.”
