Although all students are open to new experiences and adventures, most of them have one big problem that restricts their actions – it’s the lack of money. Since most of their time in college is busy with homework and various extracurricular activities, only a few students manage to find a stable job. Thus, budget managing has always been one of their main concerns.

Is It Possible To Travel And Maintain High Academic Performance?

Without a doubt, you want to make the most use of the college years. This is the time of your life when creating memories, getting new experiences, and discovering the world around you really matter. However, how can a student travel if 100% of his time is busy with college work? Balancing out personal life and studying can be extremely challenging, but it is possible!

There are a few options that can help students to find enough time for traveling without harming their academic performances. First of all, there is always a possibility to take a break from studies. This is widely called a gap year, and it can give you lots of benefits. Such an opportunity helps students to grow as personalities, contribute to self-development, become more independent and mature, etc. Thus, this might be a good idea to consider. But what if you don’t want to leave college for the whole year and still want to travel more? In this case, you might just need a bit of academic assistance. It is possible to travel around the world and still get your college assignments done with the help of online writing services like EssayPro. Such services will provide you with the needed support for the time of your travel. Whenever you have an assignment that needs to get done, you can simply order it from professional writers. This way, students can continue creating memories without giving up on their success in college.

Smart And Affordable Traveling: Tips For Managing Your Budget

What if we would tell you that you can travel around the world without going out of your budget? This may sound too good to be true. However, there are a few tips that will make traveling affordable and smart! Let’s look at the top five of them.

  • Don’t Spend Too Much On Accommodation

In most cases, it is much wiser to spend extra money on interesting activities rather than on accommodation. However, many people are still making this mistake and book hotels at astronomical prices. We advise students to avoid this. It will be much more budget-friendly to book a hostel or an apartment. And, if you want to save even more money for other things, consider requesting a host at Couchsurfing – not only it will be a cheap or even free accommodation, it will also give you an opportunity to look at the local culture from the inside and, hopefully, make good friends!

  • Seek Good Flight Deals

Transportation is one of the main things that can hit your budget really hard, especially if you are not being smart about picking flights! There are a few tips to keep in mind in order to not go bankrupt because of pricey tickets. First of all, it is always better to avoid airports in high seasons because, in most cases, the price during this time raises too much. Another good tip is to plan every trip in advance – the earlier you get the booking, the lower the price tag should be! Finally, consider picking low-cost flights over regular ones and always monitor deals offered at services for smart flights search.

  • Save Money On Meals

Meals are another thing that makes a big part of a travel budget, and there is no way one can avoid spending on food. However, there is always a possibility to spend less! For example, a sure way to avoid buying expensive lunch during the day is to have a set of nutritious backpack snacks with you! Also, bear in mind that cooking is much cheaper than eating out. After all, if there is no possibility to cook, try to pick at least restaurants that have an adequate average bill!

  • Choose Destinations Wisely

Of course, taking a nice vacation in Paris or Rome could be your cherished dream, but let’s face the truth, such tours are often way out a student’s budget. Besides, there are so many beautiful and budget destinations to visit! Thus, we encourage students to be smart when picking the places they are heading to.

  • Start Saving

Of course, this point should go without saying. The earlier you start saving money for the trip, the better and it is a fact!

Final Words

Traveling is the most exciting and fun way to discover the world, expand your horizons, gain a new perspective, and grow as a personality. And what could possibly be a better time for such a thrilling adventure than college? Hopefully, the tips provided in this article will help college students to understand that traveling can be not only fun but also affordable! Use these tips to make college years the best in your life!

If you’re planning to hit the road with the person you love the most, then chances are you’ve already heard a few horror stories about how travelling has completely ruined relationships and how no couple – how ever long they’ve been together – has survived unscathed. Well, I’m here to tell you, that travelling successfully as a couple does happen! And for every horror story you’ll hear, there are a dozen other tales with much happier endings.

So, how can you travel together without breaking up? How do you not succumb to the hanger, the frustration and the urge to scream “I told you so!” more than ten times a day? Well, read on to discover our couple travelling tips.

Look after yourself and your partner

It might seem like anything goes when you’re on the road, and that’s perhaps true to an extent. But one thing you need to be doing is looking out for each other. That means if your partner hasn’t put on their sun cream today, take a moment to apply some. If you’ve left your aviator sunglasses from Eye Buy Direct back at the hotel, then consider the risk you or your partner is putting their eyes under and head back to the room to get them. If something doesn’t look safe, or if you’re worried about something, speak out and communicate. If you’re the one being advised, try to remember that it comes from a good place.

Play to each other’s strengths (and weaknesses)

If your partner fares better with map reading, then let them take on the role, you can always chip in with a little advice if they need a second opinion. If you’re better at the lingo or dealing with the currency then you can handle the transactions. Working together is what will help your adventures run smoothly, and if you or your partner want to step out of their comfort zone and give ordering a meal in Thai a go or sorting out the fare for the bus ride, then support and encourage them.

Don’t forget how to laugh

So you’ve accidentally ordered pigs brains at the restaurant…don’t let a little inconvenience upset your whole day, just laugh and roll with the punches. Think of all the interesting tales and anecdotes you can tell when your kids are older, and all the fun you’ll have when you’re both old and reminiscing about your adventures. At the time, it might seem impossible to laugh at the situation – especially if you’ve lost the map and you’re stuck in the pouring rain – but flying accusations, screaming and arguing won’t help. So, laugh it off, it’s all part of the adventure.

Know when you’re sick/hangry

Like at home, most arguments and bickering occurs when someone is unwell, hangry or tired. If you’re feeling like this, let your partner know. You might be tempted to shout and snap but let them know how you’re feeling and that you need a break. Communication is everything. If you’re on the receiving end, then try to remain calm and remember that it’ll pass.

Let’s start with the basics – what is CBD Oil and Meds Biotech? CBD is cannabidiol, a compound found in cannabis. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD will not cause you to get high, rather it has a whole set a therapeutic benefits which have been studied by scientists and doctors all over the world. Those who are wary of trying CBD products because they are worried about feeling any high effects need not worry – as I’ve already stated it will not get you that sense of being high.

While there are plenty of people who enjoy the sensation they get from THC products, if you’re not one of them do not worry, there is a product for you too.

If you want the health benefits of cannabis without the high then CBD is your answer. It is recently gaining popularity to provide relief from chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression etc. I am sure you have already read about it in the news and seen it mentioned on various TV shows. It seems to be everywhere nowadays and if you haven’t heard about it before, this is your chance to dive in and learn more.

In the US you can now easily get your hands on CBD oil. It is legal in all 50 states.

Meds Bio Tech is just one of the current market brands selling all sorts of various CBD based products, from CBD capsules, to CBD edibles to CBD oil. Meds Bio Tech is focused on delivering the highest quality best CBD products, using all natural ingredients, 100% organic hemp and the highest methods of production.

The plants are Non GMO and organically grown, to be gently harvested under the optimal conditions. Supercritical CO2 extraction is used, which is one of the most gentle approaches to extract high quality CBD without harming the molecules in the hemp plant. Every batch of the extract is then label tested for quality.

People must be incredibly careful with cheap CBD oil alternatives on the market, as toxic solvents such as butane or propane may have been used to extract it. Under the certain conditions these solvents can be extremely hazardous. You will see that some companies are using ethanol in their extraction process but the best companies are using supercritical CO2. This way you can maintain the purity of the CBD oil throughout the entire process.

The CBD oil and CBD oil products at Meds Bio Tech have been developed by pharmacists, or pharmacist-formulated specifically for their potential health and wellness properties.

In certain Meds Bio Tech CBD products you will find the addition of turmeric which is an excellent addition since turmeric has been known as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory supplement.

What I love about the Meds Bio Tech products is their commitment to highest quality ingredients. The CBD Oil is extracted from Non GMO, organic hemp plants grown on sustainable farms in the USAYou can currently use the coupon code MEDSBIOTECH50 to get 50% off the entire store on your first purchase. Why CBD Oil by DiamondCBD is the best organic medicine for flight sickness:

If you ask me, motion sickness is one of the worst sensations of all time. When it strikes it sticks with you for a long time so if you can do anything to prevent it from hitting you that is the absolute best plan of action.

It is fairly common to have motion sickness in car travel, specifically in the back seat. If the roads are windy or mountainous being stuck in the back seat can make for a very uncomfortable travel experience. It’s even possible to get motion sickness in the passenger seat. In my experience only the driver is safe from any form of motion sickness in a car.

I myself suffer from motion sickness when riding in the back seat of a car and in general always offer to drive if I know the road is going to be treacherous. In terms of car travel my all time motion sickness prevention tip is to be the driver.

Unfortunately this does not exactly carry over to other forms of transportation.

On a plane you will not have the option to propel yourself into the front row seat. For years I traveled my plane and never experienced motion sickness. I could read, watch movies, sleep, eat, etc and never felt nauseous in any way shape or form. One fine day that seemed to change completely. Now I find myself quite prone to motion sickness on flights, even more so on small planes.

In a car if you’re feeling queasy you can at least pull over or open the window; on a plane, no such luck. Once that nausea starts to hit it usually lasts for a while since you’re pretty much stuck where you are.

While there are a variety of medications aimed at reducing or preventing motion sickness on the market a lot of them have the unpleasant added side effect of drowsiness. If you’ve taken Benadryl, Dramamine, or Bonine you may know what I’m talking about.

Luckily, turns out there may just be a perfect solution for flight sickness and that happens to be CBD oil.

The anti nausea effects of marijuana are well known but scientists have recently discovered that CBD is just as effective as THC in controling nausea and in effect flight sickness. CBD, unlike THC, is currently legal in almost every state and does not induce a psychoactive state so you can safely take it if you plan or drive or engage in other activities.

How does the CBD work? It turns out CBD indirectly activates 5-hydroxytryptamine, a compound that reduces that nauseous feeling and the vomit reflex that comes with it.

The CBD oil hits faster than standard over the counter motion sickness medications and does not have any drowsy side effects making it a great option for battling flight sickness.

So if you’re prone to motion sickness and are about to board a long international flight, save yourself the misery and bring some CBD oil with you on your trip.

Feel free to use the coupon code: DIAMOND50 for one-time usage for 50% off the entire DiamondCBD store.

Saying that Niagara Falls has a lot to offer travelers would be an understatement. Whether you want to gaze upon the majesty of the iconic falls or enjoy the surrounding area’s ever-expanding array of attractions, there’s never a bad time to chart a course for Niagara Falls. Since Niagara is home to an abundance of child-friendly activities, its reputation as a first-rate family destination is well-deserved. Of course, this isn’t to say that adults can’t cut loose when visiting the falls. As you’ll find, Niagara Falls features a wide assortment of adult-oriented attractions that are sure to please even the most discerning traveler.

Casinos

Travelers who enjoy games of chance won’t want to miss out on a chance to visit Niagara’s first-rate casinos. Featuring two floors of slots and an impressive assortment of gaming tables, Casino Niagara is the perfect place for gamblers of all stripes. Additionally, fans of interactive gaming will want to check out the casino’s LEV2L Sports Bar & Entertainment, where both hardcore gamers and casual video game enthusiasts will find plenty to hold their attention.

Wine-Tasting Tours

Unbeknownst to many travelers, Niagara is home to an impressive collection of high-quality vineyards. That being the case, no one who enjoys a good glass of wine can go home without embarking on one of the many wine-tasting tours these vineyards offer. In addition to sampling a tasty smorgasbord of fine wines, these tours provide guests with numerous opportunities to dine at cozy vineyard restaurants. An authentic Niagara Falls wine-tasting tour is the perfect way for seasoned wine connoisseurs and people who enjoy the occasional glass to spend a day.

Of course, wine isn’t the only adult beverage with deep roots in Niagara. The area is also home to a number of renowned breweries. So if beer is your refreshment of choice, make a point of visiting the headquarters of the Niagara Brewing Company, Silversmith Brewing Company or Niagara Oast House Brewers. Not only will you get to enjoy a colorful assortment of authentic craft beers, you’ll receive a behind-the-scenes look at how they’re made.

Haunted Houses

Although haunted houses are common attractions at carnivals and theme parks, not all of them are appropriate for small children. This is particularly true in the case of Niagara’s famous Nightmares Fear Factory. The oldest operational haunted house in North America, Nightmares Fear Factory offers a unique maze-like layout and multiple story threads. Furthermore, this attraction is so terrifying that a sizable percentage of guests chicken out before reaching the end. Whether you throw in the towel or make it all the way through, this experience is likely to stay with you for a very long time. A trip through Nightmares Fear Factory is the perfect group outing, so if you’re traveling with a brave bunch, don’t hesitate to book your tickets. Anyone staying at any of the hotels in Niagara Falls should inquire about discount packages.

Spas

As any seasoned parent can confirm, traveling with small children doesn’t offer much room for relaxation. In fact, this type of travel experience is often more conducive to stress than R&R. Fortunately for adults looking to unwind, Niagara Falls is home to a soothing assortment of spas. After a visit to Senses Spa & Boutique, Serenity Spa or Healing Salt Cave, your troubles will seem like they’re a million miles away. In addition to reinvigorating hot stone massages and body wraps, these spas offer comprehensive beauty treatments that will leave you looking – and feeling – your best.

There’s little wonder as to why Niagara Falls is such a widely-renowned family destination. With so many attractions catering to visitors of all ages, every family member is bound to find something they enjoy. However, this doesn’t mean Niagara is exclusively a place for families. Whether you’re traveling solo, embarking on a romantic getaway or taking a trip with friends, Niagara Falls has more than enough to keep you entertained.

If you have decided that your next holiday will be spent in Thailand, you certainly won’t be disappointed, something that millions of tourists would confirm. In order to ensure that you are well-prepared, here is a list of essential items to include in your luggage when flying to the exotic destination of Thailand.

  • A Thai Phrase Book – While English is spoken in tourist areas, if you go off the beaten track, you will be lucky to find anyone who can understand English, so buy a small phrase book that will help you to communicate in an emergency. Of course, if you book your holiday with a tour operator, you can have a local guide with you at all times, which negates the need for the phrase book.
  • Skin Protection – The sun is very strong in Thailand, especially in coastal regions, and coming from a chilly climate puts you at risk of sunburn. You should apply sunblock before heading out each morning, and keep some with you, as it does get very hot in the summer. The majority of tourists take Thailand tours packages from USA providers, and they give all their clients a list of essential items that includes some form of skin protection.
  • Mosquito Repellent – There are millions, if not billions, of mosquitoes in this tropical paradise, and they do seem to prefer foreign blood. The locals put a smoking coil under the table, but in all honesty, you need better protection than that, as dengue fever is a real risk in all regions of Thailand. You can, of course, buy the local creams and sprays, which do work well, and you should cover yourself before the sun sets, as this is the worst time for mosquitoes.

photo taken by Vicky Berman

  • Medical Insurance – Visiting a tropical country has its risks, and getting sick in Thailand can be an expensive exercise. You should have some form of medical insurance that covers most things, and talking to your tour operator might give you a lead on an inexpensive policy that will cover the whole family.
  • Light Cotton Clothing – Forget any warm clothing, as even in the middle of winter, temperatures are around 20C. You should pack some light cotton trousers and a couple of long sleeve shirts, which can be worn in the evenings, and will offer some protection against the mosquitoes. In the event you are going to the mountainous north during the months of November to January, it can be very cold, so talk to your tour operator about suitable clothing.

Photo taken by Vicky Berman

  • Good Pair of Sunglasses – Obviously, Thailand is a very sunny climate, so you will want to take a good pair of polarised sunglasses, or you could buy some when you arrive. When you book with a tour operator, they will give you a list of things to include in your luggage, along with other useful information about this unique country.

At the time of writing this article, electronic cigarettes are illegal in Thailand, so if you vape, DO NOT bring your vaping device with you, as it could lead to jail. By booking with a reputable tour operator, you can be sure of getting the most out of your holiday in Thailand.

Photo by Vicky Berman – A Couple TravelersIf you are planning next year’s holiday to Bali, there is much to consider. With so many interesting places to stay, you should take time before choosing your villa destination. Of all the places you can stay on this tropical island, Seminyak and Ubud are both excellent choices.

With that in mind, here is some useful information about both of these amazing places to help you make the right choice of accommodation.

Seminyak

The town of Seminyak is a little further down the coast from the busy resort of Kuta, which is the party capital of Bali. There is a wide selection of Seminyak villas available from an online holiday accommodation provider, and whether you prefer Seminyak or Ubud, they would have luxury villas in both towns. Seminyak is a great place to stay of you like quaint bars and restaurants, of which there are many, and the party town of Kuta is not far away, should you wish to dance the night away.

Spas and Boutiques

Seminyak is known for both spas and boutiques, so if you fancy being pampered, Seminyak is the ideal choice. There are many small independent boutiques that offer a wide range of designer clothing, and you can spend your mornings window shopping, while booking into a world-class spa for the afternoon. The luxury villas in Seminyak are truly world-class, and you can have a round the clock butler and your very own chef, which is certainly a luxury, and with onsite spa facilities, you won’t need to leave your villa resort.

Ubud

This inland town is a very popular tourist destination, which is not far from Seminyak, and if you would like to stay in an authentic Balinese town, Ubud is the place for you. You have some scenic views of rice plantation terraces, which makes for the best backdrop for your accommodation. If you like arts & crafts, then Ubud is the place to stay, as it is very much regarded as the cultural centre of Bali. Here you can buy some wonderful art and handicrafts, including batik, which is a wax form of cloth dyeing that Bali is well-known for.

Ubud has many art museums and is also the place to see traditional Balinese dancing, and, of course, you simply must visit the Monkey Forest, where there is a unique temple, and, of course, many monkeys. If you really want to gain an insight into the Balinese way of life, you can hire a personal guide who will show you the very best local attractions, and they also have their own transportation, which makes things very convenient.

Both Seminyak and Ubud have their own unique ambience, and Ubud is in a quieter setting, and would suit someone who likes natural surroundings. There are online villa companies where you can make your accommodation booking, but remember to book well in advance, especially if you plan on going in the high season.
