A beautiful , cozy Cafe run by a mother daughter duo in Al Karama. I visited Ketli cafe for lunch. We started off with the Virgin Shirle temple which was so refreshing. The food I tried was delicious. The food is very comfort-home food style. We started off with Chicken Cheesy garlic bread which was unique. The garlic bread was crispy and the chicken in it was perfectly spiced and was cheesy. I then had the Potato Pathakas and Chicken Pathakas which were equally good.

We then had the Desi style Nachos. The speciality is that these nachos and the sauce is all made in house. The nachos were crisp and the salsa was perfect desi style. Then we had Spicy Chicken Paratha which had a nice filling inside the parathas.  The next dish we had was Chicken Stroganoff with rice. This was more like Chicken Manchurian gravy with white rice. It was nice. Our last main-course was White sauce penne pasta. The sauce is made in house and was creamy and good.

For the desserts we had Lotus biscoff Cheesecake which was presented so well and was delicious. The service is good and the food too. Will definitely visit again to try more from the menu.

Roti rollers is a restaurant inspired by classic Indian street food. As Chef Samer said, Roti rollers is a modern space with modern fusion but has touches of exotic Indian heritage and taste. It was such an honor meeting Chef Samer who is so passionate about the food creation at Roti Rollers and aims at maintaining our Indian flavor in this modern menu. The food here has Indian taste to it and you feel so great about it when you have it. The food at Roti Rollers is healthy as they avoid starch and processed sugar and the roti’s are made in-house without any use of oil. The restaurant has a beautiful street style ambience and the staff here are very cheerful.

Talking about the food..

We started off with Roti crisps  (AED 10)with their homemade sauces which has minimal oil in them. I had Mango Lassi (AED 20) and Minty Lemonade (AED 20) for the drinks. The Mango Lassi was thick and perfectly sweet.

Chaat Platter: The beautifully plated Chaat platter had pani puri, dahi puri and sev puri. This was lip smacking.

Crispy Chicken wings (AED 35 for 6 pcs): I chose my wings to be Mild. The sauce was delicious and the wings were really crispy.

Pav Bhaji Fondue (AED 20): This was my first experience of a Pav Bhaji Fondue. The Bhaji was delicious topped with butter and the Pav was tossed in butter and was crisp. I loved the Pav Bhaji Fondue.

I also had a bowl (AED 60)with Biryani rice as the base with Chicken tikka with their best topping sauces and veggies. There were roti crisps on the side and some spicy tangy corn on the cob. The bowl was very filling.

I then tried their signature The Emiroti (AED 40) which is lamb kofta wrapped in a whole wheat roti and dressings were arabic garlic sauce, tahina, sumac and red onion. The wrap comes with potato fries and roti crisps and their signature sauce. The wrap was delicious and the lamb kofta inside was fresh and juicy.

Jalebi with Rabri: Tiny delicious jalebi’s with some fresh rabri were divine. The portion of jalebi’s is quite huge and can be easily shared between 2-3 people. I just couldn’t stop eating those yummy jalebi’s with rabri.

Ended our delicious meal with some nice Karak Chai (AED 10).

I loved our very first experience at Roti Rollers and can’t wait to be back to this amazing place.

Patiala an Indian restaurant located in the prestigious Souk-Al-Bahar Downtown is named after the princely state in Punjab – Patiala. It offers a relaxed yet sophisticated ambience, stylish interiors and good food that appeals to all foodies. I visited Patiala to try their Friday brunch menu  which can be had with soft beverage or with beverage selection. The restaurant is huge and has a separate section for Bar and smoking.

We started off with the beverages for Cocktails Rau Punjab Di and Paan Slush and for the mocktails Peach Punch and Basil Breeze. The Cocktails were OK but the mocktails tasted great.  The next course was the Chaat and we had Aloo Papri chaat and Chilli Nadhru Chaat and they tasted great.

For the Appetizers, we had had platter which has one piece of each. it has the Chicken Skewer, Fish Amritsari, Murgh Malai Kebab, Lamb Seekh Kebab and Makhmali Seekh. The appetisers were succulent.

For the main course we had small portions of Butter Chicken, Keema Mutter, Sal Makhani and Chicken Biryani with the bread basket. The main course portions were ok and the food was delicious. I was in love with the Dal Makhani.

To end this delectable brunch our Desserts were presented in a  tray which had small portions of Apricot Kheer, Mango Malai Ice-cream and Gulab Jamun.

The service was good and the Chef came in to check for our feedback. The ambience is nice and its a great place for a family brunch. The brunch is priced at a very reasonable price where you get to savour various Indian dishes. They do keep changing their brunches so have a look at their Zomato account for an updated brunch menu.

This brunch was priced at AED 149 with soft beverages and AED 199 with selected beverages (Wine, Beers and Cocktails).
