Branding for Lilo™, a brand for men's shoes 100% recycled leatherAoiroStudioJul 08, 2019

We would like to feature this fashionable branding for Lilo™ designed by Federico Sanchez, a designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The brand behind its design is for men's shoes 100% recycled leather. I love the simplicity of its design and the choice of colors with a little accent with the Yellow. What caught my eye for this project is the logo, the bigger 'O' somehow balances it all well together. The overall design kept its sustainable vision of the brand rightfully to its philosophy.

Lilo is a brand of men's shoes made with 100% recycled leather. The sober, the elegant and the fine are attributes that highlight the product.

Editorial Design: Cazador Cookbook by Tim DonaldsonAoiroStudioJul 04, 2019

This is an editorial design by New Zealand-based Creative Director Tim Donaldson, it's a design of cookbook entitled: Cazador. The print material reminds me of an old cookbook which brings a great load of nostalgia. Once inside the book you are introduced to a few images which again keeps that vintage concept but you will notice the big beautiful fonts for the "chapters" and also use for a two-spread designated for quotes. Simple, lovely and quite efficient.

Tim Donaldson is a Creative Director at Sea Change Studio based in Auckland, New Zealand. His work is mostly around art direction, graphic design and branding; check out more for his work on Behance.

Product Design Love: Bodega Los Cedros by Anagrama StudioibbyJun 21, 2019

Bodega Los Cedros is a Mexican vineyard located in the mountains of Arteaga, Coahuila. The origins of the name derive from a passion and dream of a family to produce high quality wines within a region more than 100 years old named "El Cedrito." Enter the talented team at Anagrama Studio to bring the branding vision of this magical place to life by tapping into the geographical location of the vineyard for inspiration. The end result, a beautiful brand identity that employs the characteristic components of the area such as climate, altitude, flora and fauna. We particularly love the simplicity of the logo highlighting three pine trees as the brand's distinctive icon along with the wine label and die-line mimicking cloud shapes. From a typographic standpoint, we can enjoy a sans serif that adds a touch of modernity while the script gesture preserves a more organic touch showcasing the brand's marriage of simplicity and elegance. The color palette is nice and neutral enabling a spotlight on the diverse wine color tones while  accentuating the contrast between bottle and label. Cheers to the Anagrama team for a beautiful execution celebrating this beautiful wine label.

Logo Design Inspiration: A roundup by Alexandra Zutto, Ryan Prudhomme and moreAoiroStudioJun 12, 2019

A new Pure Design Inspiration is up! One burst of inspiration roundup! For this week, I decided to go full speed on Logo Design! Something I have noticed while hand-picking and browsing this week's selections. I don't know if it's a new trend but designers tend to share all ideas, concepts, and iterations for a logo. I totally dig this visual approach, it's definitely inspiring seeing many taking this to another level. Hope you will appreciate!

In this collection we are featuring the work from Alexandra Zutto, Ryan Prudhomme, Mackey Saturday, Yoga Perdana and more.

Branding & Art Direction for Smeaton Grange CrossFitAoiroStudioJun 07, 2019

Korolos from Korolos & Friends has shared with us through our Facebook, a cool project they have worked on for Smeaton Grange CrossFit from Sydney, Australia. Focusing on their branding and art direction; they worked at developing their brand and identity, concept and strategy, through to launch and campaign. I am truly loving the direction on this one, make sure to follow Korolos & Friends on Behance.

Adversity into triumph – the driving force behind the concept, brand and narrative. Our goal was to create an escape from the daily grind, allowing members to feel rejuvenated and strong – in body and mind. We set the scene and tone by collaborating with our creative network of friends to bring the story of the Stag to life. An urban jungle fit-out that places Smeaton Grange CrossFit at the forefront of the Australian CrossFit industry.

A Skateboarder's Journal Book Cover Design ProcessabduzeedoJun 04, 2019

As a former skateboarder and still avid fan of the sport I try to follow what's going on in that industry especially because, in my opinion, I believe they set a lot of trends in style. I have fond memories of the skateboarding magazines I used to collect in the 90s like Trasher and Transworld. When I saw the post that Tim Bisschop about a hand painted book cover for the "A Skateboarder's Journal" I knew I had to post about it. Tim was also super cool to share a bit of how he did that. It seems simple but the result is like the essence of skateboarding. It's all about the style and simplicity.

Tim Bisschop is a graphic designer from Belgium wit an inspiring portfolio focused on Editorial Design, Graphic Design and Typography. We highly recommend that you check it out at http://www.timbisschop.be/

10 Logos in 10 Days Challenge - Logo DesignAoiroStudioMay 29, 2019

You gotta appreciate when designers get out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves to be creative and push the boundaries of making. Well, Yago Ferreira from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; is a good example of that with his 10 logos/10 days series that he shared on his Behance profile. I personally love the first one with the Museo da Arte de Rua, a mosaïc puzzle of goodness mashing together beautifully. Alongside the graphical assets, you have to apprehend the variety of style as well going from a museum, steak restaurant, VR technology and more.

Pure Fun Typography on Billboards - Songs And The City seriesAoiroStudioMay 21, 2019

Feeling the 90s nostalgia on this one! Kae aka Hello This Is Kae is an art director based in Berlin, Germany. Her series: Songs And The City is a purely fun typographic endeavor to turn 80s/90s hits into visuals. Simple as that, but these pieces are amusing and you truly do start whispering the songs yourself. Most of us are from that era and these songs are timeless! We are living now with such standard with our user experience design and yet it's always top to see designers going out of their comfort zone with typography. I hope we will see more of Kae in the near future, make sure to follow her experiments on her Instagram.

Do you ever have those days when you wake up and have a song stuck in your head for no reason? Not something you heard in a bar or on Netflix. It just comes into your mind unannounced and stays there for the day. You go outside, put the song on Spotify, take the transport and then start seeing it everywhere. It's on the walls, in the subway, in all the billboards, posters, street signs.
