Where in heaven’s name is summer?  Honestly broken record Linda seems to be whining about that a lot. The May long weekend has come and gone and that means summer is traditionally starting right? So where exactly has it been? . I would be totally sad and depressed over that fact normally but my new Dress brought a smile to my face. Eva Trends and an Athleisure style is a fun look for work.

Well where did that weekend go?  One minute it was Friday and the weekend loomed ahead and next thing I know it’s Monday Morning.  Wouldn’t it be nice if the weekend felt as long as the week and the workweek flew by like a weekend?  Also say that statement three times fast, talk about a tongue twister. Today we share a Sunday look, poolside in my Linen Stripe Pants.

Linen Stripe Pants

Let’s talk truth for a minute.  While in the states in May I was shopping, ok not a surprise.  Back to the story, I was shopping and trying to find some new stripe pants.  Possibly moving away from black and into a colour for a bit of a new 2019 look.

Well this is a trip that I totally forgot to share. In November of 2017 Kent and I took a trip to Dubois Pennsylvania.  Typically of all our fun filled vacations we did a little tasting at local establishments.  Yes that is the polite way of saying any food, beer, wine or spirits around.  We found a quaint Winery near by in Shippenville, Deer Creek Winery.  This winery, Inn, event venue and all around cute property was a fun find.

In the past I followed Thirsty Thursday a fun drink link up. Truly the most enjoyment I had was not necessarily trying the drink recipes but rather learning about everyone’s taste palate. Plus, it gives you such a great peak into who a person actually is.  I have been thinking back a lot lately to when I first started blogging and what I shared.  Inspiration comes in so many forms, and for me my own blog and older posts sometimes are big inspirations.  Today I thought I would re-visit an older post and talk about my Favourite White Wine.  I originally posted my love of Rieslings back in 2013 but as life has progressed and I have grown, an update was needed.

Monday I had a day off, it was supposed to be a fun catch up with my blog day after the weekend.  Sadly I spent way too much time trying to figure out blog issues and recovering from a crazy weekend. Why oh why am I so stubborn and insist on trying to fix things myself.  In the meantime let’s get happy with a Pink linen blazer and cream stripe skirt from Target

Blog Adventures and Page Speed

I promised myself after this weekend was over I would focus on my blog.  What I actually intended was to re-start my Dominate SEO course and start applying all I learned.

There’s a sad, sad, perception that life ends somewhere in your mid to late twenties. Fun is unceremoniously off the menu. Silliness is a luxury you can no longer afford. Magic is something that’s only for children’s stories and duty and responsibility are the fundamental pillars of your life. If you’re not careful you can live your thirties, forties, fifties and beyond without any sense of wonderment, fun, excitement or magic… Wouldn’t that be a tragedy?

Do you ever do something really stupid that you want to slap yourself in the head ~ like a dozen times? I realized in the middle of the week that I did not schedule last week’s Happiness is Homemade Link Party. My apologies to those of you who link up through Bluesky at Home. You have my permission to hit me over the head with a wet noodle and a dead chicken. I made sure that this week’s Happiness is Homemade Link Party 274 is definitely out there for you to link your favorite posts.

Happy Giant Tiger and A Labour of Fashion Day folks.  Styling my Lily Morgan Floralie Collection pieces yet again because they are seasonal favs.  The lightweight pant with a draw string waist, an uber comfy cardigan plus great patterns and colours. Honestly what is not to love?
