According to the folks at Jackson Hole Public Art, “A massive bear might just now stop you in your tracks when passing by Teton County’s administrative offices in downtown Jackson. What was your experience of 2021? If I had to describe this past year, I would use the word extreme. It was a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. Artist in Residency  One of the biggest challenges for artists is to find interrupted time to focus solely on the creative process. I certainly struggle with this. The persistence of emails, phone calls, appointments always vie for our attention. Fall Arts Festival 2o2o There is a fresh crispness in the air and the aspens are just started to turn. Fall Arts Festival is almost upon us and despite Covid-19, it will still be a busy time. Over a year ago five of us Jackson Hole Artists were approached by the Booth Museum of Western Art to create a collaborative exhibition that showcases the caliber of art being created in our little mountain community. These 35 paintings traveled from the Tetons to Cartersville, Georgia to hang in what has been recognized as the #1 Art museum in the country by the USA Today Reader’s Poll.
