There is something that has been going on in classrooms for the past 10 years or so. Something that we had rarely seen before in such young children. Something that we certainly didn't experience ourselves as young children in our own dance classes. There is an entire generation who don't know how to make mistakes - so much so that the very idea of it paralyzes them. Hello, my name is Alyssa Noorman and I am Co-Owner / Managing Director of Garden State Dance Arts. I have been teaching dance for 24 years and have been a student of dance for 37 years. I attended Seton Hall University where I focused my studies on Business and Sports Management. Hi, I'm Rosanne Moxley and I'm Co-Owner and Artistic Director of Garden State Dance Arts and I want to take some time to introduce myself. I have been teaching dance and acrobatics for 25 years and I have been a student of dance for 38 years. From a very young age, I was certain I wanted dance to be my profession in some capacity, although I wasn't sure what form that would be until I got older.
