I loved doing this Wedding Photographer Branding Session for Debbie! You know that feeling when you “know” someone from the internet but never actually met in person? That’s how branding sessions can be for me! I knew of Debbie, knew of her business and the beautiful work that she captured! It wasn’t until her Wedding Photographer Branding Session that we actually met in person for the first time. I can testify that she was just as fun and laid back as she seemed online! Get to know Debbie! Tell me more about yourself and your business! “I’m a bright and airy wedding and portrait photographer ..read more

An Etsy Store Owner Branding Session

This Branding Session was the most powerful session I’ve done yet. And here’s why. Cait, of The Sunny Corner Studio, is not only an amazing Etsy Shop entrepreneur that sells the cutest handmade ornaments but her story and testimony is truly remarkable! Of course we wanted to get some celebratory images of being a cancer SURVIVOR and I think she totally nailed the vision! Then we transitioned into the behind the scenes of her business, Sunny Corner Studio, and how she uses that to make money. But first, learn more about Cait! Cait’s Story “I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 29. God has ..read more

A Custom Label Design Branding Session

One thing that I love about branding sessions is that they’re not one-size-fits-all for businesses. They’re totally customized to each individual business to serve that business as best as possible. A branding session works for the soloprenuer, for a small team, whether you’re service based or product based. Working with Church Street Designs was different, in a good way, and I love how it challenged me creatively! The Owner, Sarah, says “Church Street Designs is a small home decor business that was started in my home in 2012. What began as a hobby creating hand painted signs from my kitchen ..read more

This Gring’s Mill Maternity session was one of the most special sessions I’ve photographed this year. Why? Because this is the *THIRD* time I’m photographing this adorable and amazing couple. They’ve chosen me to be a part of their engagement and their wedding day journey and now their maternity!! Shelby and I are so close in due dates, both with our first child, and it’s been so fun keeping in touch all things baby! Scott & Shelby have been such amazing friends and we’re so thankful for them. What started as just “clients and vendor” relationship has now turned into an awesome friendship ..read more

Doing another Wedding Photographer Branding Session is, of course, one of my favorite things. Especially when it’s a girl like Katherine in her adorable western styled home! Getting to work with Katherine was honestly like hanging out with an old friend, which is exactly what it was! I knew her for years prior and so it truly was an honor to do her branding session! I loved that we were able to incorporate so many of her favorite things. Dolly (her pup), her daughter and husband and not to mention, some adorable coffee mugs. While a Wedding Photographer Branding Session may be the overall the ..read more

A Moonstone Manor Wedding

I remember this Moonstone Manor Wedding like it was yesterday. There were so many special and personal moments that they included in their wedding day but also some not so special moments. Like the fact that we were threatened by a *nasty* thunderstorm all morning during photos right up until the ceremony. Running around as fast but as calmly as possible trying to hit all of the locations for photos made for a quick and crazy morning! Aside from that, the personal moments far outweighed the bad. First off, I loved that Emily incorporated her son in the father/daughter first look. Her dad and ..read more

Wedding Photographer Essentials: It’s Not All About Equipment

A wedding photographer is a critical part of anyone’s big day. It is their responsibility to capture a once-in-a-lifetime event, one the bride and groom will usually want to remember for the rest of their lives. It’s a huge responsibility, and there are so many different elements that go into becoming a successful photographer. You can’t just take your iPhone to a wedding and hope to do the day justice, nor can a professional photographer expect to get clients advertising on social media with the odd post. Being a wedding photographer is about so much more than that. There are some ..read more

Marcus & Mailan – Intimate Hotel Hershey Wedding

This intimate Hotel Hershey Wedding was the perfect way to finish out my 2022 season. It was the perfect little ceremony for Marcus & Mailan and their families. Going back to photograph a new Hotel Hershey Wedding was definitely a treat! Mailan reached out to me earlier this year about the possibility of photographing their intimate wedding. Since their big wedding day isn’t until next year, they wanted to get legally married now. Instead of opting for a courthouse wedding, they chose to do it at their wedding venue. Getting to spend the evening with them and their families was so sweet ..read more

A Hair and Makeup Branding Session

I knew from the moment we started planning this hair and makeup branding session, it was going to be off the charts. Tiffany, with 139 Beauty Co, really maxed out her hair and makeup branding session to the fullest. Not only did we get to incorporate hair and makeup but also some of her other favorite things in life! One of the goals of branding sessions is to, of course, showcase what you do in your business. Showing you in action as a business owner doing your job and also what it’s like behind the scenes is key. This gives potential clients a fun peek into your business and seeing you in a ..read more

Riverside Blooms – A Florist Branding Session

I think one of the best things about branding sessions is the uniqueness of all of them! Sure, I could photograph the same type of business over and over again, like a Florist Branding Session. However, each business is run differently which allows me to strategize and really highlight those areas that make it unique. Especially this session, that took almost a full year to complete and photograph! Marci, with Riverside Blooms, has such a cool business! In short, she is a flower farmer! What made this Florist Branding Session unique was that we actually photographed her flower farm multiple t ..read more
