The headlines in the January 20, 1905 Denver Post read “Entire City Pauses For Prayer Even At The High Tide Of Business As The Soul Rises Above Sordid Thoughts.” Businesses closed their doors for prayer between noon and 2:00 PM at the request of J. Wilbur Chapman who came to town and called the people to pray. A quote from this article: “Seldom has such a remarkable sight been witnessed-an entire great city, in the middle of a busy week day, bowing before the throne of Heaven and asking and receiving the blessings of the King of the Universe.” Pray with us that the wells of the 1905 revival ar ..read more

Colorado Prays has been praying for peace and joy to be released across Colorado. In late October, a team of intercessors went to Tremont and 16th St. in Denver to declare peace over the City. They prayed from the roof top of the Republic Plaza Building and from several other locations including the intersection of 16th and Tremont. There was a sense of peace when the assignment was complete and a sense that the spirit of the Fear of Lord had been released over the downtown area and across all of Colorado. Up to that time, security guards along the 16th St. Mall shared that there had been an i ..read more

During a Cover The County Prayer Leader meeting in October, we prayed for the sanctity of life and the passing of Proposition 115 in the upcoming election...that there would be no more abortions. Although the initiative did not pass in the election, God is answering prayers. On a Denver Cover The County prayer call on Nov 18, 2020 a woman asked to share a testimony. She had met a woman who had been determined to have an abortion but in prayer with her had decided to keep the baby. The woman had given birth the week before and had accepted Jesus as her Savior! God answers our prayers ..read more

Tremont Parking Garage on 15th & Tremont in Denver has historically been a conduit for evil as 17-22 people a year have committed suicide from the top level of the garage. In 2020, there were 17 people who took their life by jumping off the top level to the sidewalk below. In 2021, a team of intercessors went downtown and prayed over the area surrounding the garage in addition to the garage itself. God answered the prayers of His saints! There were only 3 suicides in 2021. That is 3 too many deaths but way less than the previous years. Please praise God and stand with Colorado Prays believ ..read more

1. I think the greatest testimony from my perspective as the Senior Pastor at The Road is the atmospheric changes—the mighty presence of God and the massive uptick in faith in the services! I feel so much more freedom to preach, and it’s making a big difference in how I preach. I come expecting faith and expectation in the room. I give the credit to the increased prayer happening starting with our Colorado Prays Prayer Watch. 2. Since partnering with Colorado Prays, we have started additional prayer opportunity times at The Road including Pre-Service Prayer, Boiler Room Prayer, Harp & Bowl ..read more

There were 7 youth suicides in Mesa County during that school year according to the Coroners' office .
