Before meeting up with Mandy and Scotty for their elopement I had a little free time and decided to adventure over to Point Lobos. Let me go ahead and tell you, the views did not disappoint! The cliffs had the most beautiful Monterey Cypress trees. They gorgeously grow under the constant batter of sea and wind. I did some research and found they only grow in 2 places out there and can live to around 200 years or up to 400 if it’s a single tree. Pretty wild if you ask me! Nothing makes me happier than finding little hidden gems like this! The Funky Loft is located in Brooklyn and is filled with so many interesting spaces and things. The loft served as an Airbnb as well as a studio space for creatives to rent out by the hour. There were Covid precautions in place and everything felt very safe. I split the cost of the space with another photographer from upstate New York named Meaghean who owns Vows & Views Photography. She drove down and I flew into JFK.
