SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The former Park City LGBTQ+ Task Force is now known as Summit Pride, a name change that the group hopes will represent its diverse membership throughout Summit County. The organization is under new leadership, and is currently working to get its 501 (c) 3 designation, officially making it a nonprofit. “That’s to help envelop kind of where we’re going with the task force at hand,” said E.J. PARK CITY, Utah — On Tuesday, members of the French Olympic bid committee toured around Northern Utah, visiting past Olympic Venues in ongoing discussions regarding future Olympic venues. WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – The Wasatch County Trails, Arts, and Parks (TAP) Tax Advisory Board opened its spring 2024 grant application period back in April. This new grant, funded by a local sales and use tax approved by voters in 2022, aims to enhance trails, arts, and parks within the county. The 1/10 of a percent tax, which equates to $0.01 for every ten dollars spent, went into effect in 2023. The first TAP grant will be awarded this year.
