When they tell me about how they met, it kinda feels like a movie. Scene: The Hardware Store, Somewhere in Arizona. In enters B, hair a mess and simply looking for lightbulbs. There’s a man standing in the middle of the aisle, his head cocked to the side, ear to the ceiling. As she approaches, he catches her eye.  “It’s a good song.” “I can’t hear it,” she responds honestly. “That’s the point.” She said his smile crinkled his eyes. “They should turn it up.” He stood there in the middle of the aisle and began to ask her question after question: If money was no object what would you do wit ..read more

We humbly thank you for your letter of unsolicited advice, Paul. Regretfully, upon review, we must implore you to cease all future open letter activity. We specifically invite you to desist in philosophizing on the topic of love. We find your approach far too academic. A Priori. A pleasant theory, but untested. As you wrote, if one speaks all the tongues of angels and humans but does not have love, he is only a resounding gong, a clanging cymbal. We agree – that you, sir, are all brass, and reverb. But we get it, Paul... you’re single. James Merenda, slam poet, begins their poem “the Co ..read more

I always love when I shoot with clients who feel like friends. Truj and Brian have that way about them - magnetic and companionable. When we first met last year in the dead of summer at Jaho, we talked for ages about everything: art, poetry, video games, tattoos, cosplay, music, travel, podcasts, food. They loved everything, they wanted to know about everything, and they wanted to try everything. It was clear to me from the beginning that these two are people who share a zest for life, and found each other to explore what it has to offer. That, personally, is what the Ideal truly is.   Caitlin (she/they) and AJ (she/her) are a modern-day-dating success story with a timeless vibe. Having swiped right on Tinder years ago, they never looked back! It was unexpected for the both of them; AJ was determined to have a "no strings attached" summer in Boston, and Caitlin, over in Providence, was recovering from surgeries when AJ decided to hit them with a "you're cute. Wanna go for a drink sometime?" Once Caitlin was well enough to say yes, AJ was well on her way down to Providence from Somerville on her motorcycle. I've been told love comes to you when you least expect it, an ..read more

Shira (they/them) and Colin (he/him) are getting married in New Hampshire next year, and I’m so excited to be on board with them. They have gone full speed ahead with the fully-LGBTQ-vendor-takeover for their wedding — and I think that’s so cool. But they don’t stop there with their support for the local queer community. These two are extremely dedicated and invested contributors to the local arts. Shira works as a director and dramaturg and Colin is an experienced stage manager. Together they invest their time and skill in showcasing the talent, thoughts, and works of the LGBTQIA+ art ..read more

Rae (he/him) and Marlowe (they/them) have what I personally believe to be the Ideal in a relationship: creative harmony. They constantly pursue enrichment through the arts: from their professions, to their communities, to the clothes they wear — often handmade. When they contacted me about capturing their engagement and wedding, I knew from our first conversation we would get along. Any good pair that appreciates the arts typically vibes with my shooting style and general M.O. - I’m at a point in my career where my clients don’t just feel like “people who need a photographer for their ..read more

Palma Sola Botanical Gardens and Mote Aquarium Indian Wedding

Avina and Michael were wed at the Palma Sola Botanical Gardens and followed their 5-hour ceremony with a lively reception at the Mote Marine Lab and Aquarium. Their day was filled with music, color, laughter, games, dancing, and most importantly - love, all around.  It was truly an unprecedented experience for me as a photographer to capture such a whirlwind of a day; with three other videographers on the case to capture each angle of every moment as it happened, I saw my role as moreso to curate a narrative of the rituals from a different perspective. I hope you will enjoy the ..read more

If there’s one thing about Lauren and Brendan–wait, nevermind. I was going to say: “They know how to party”. But it’s way more than just One Thing with These Two. Their wedding day was full of so many things: love, laughter, music, killer style, and a dance floor that won’t quit. Seriously - I’ve never seen a dance floor like theirs.  Can someone give Maroon 5 a call, they should probably change the of ‘Moves Like Jagger’ to ‘Moves Like Lauren’.  Their wedding day was a blast from start to finish. The vibes were on, the company was excellent, the ..read more

Em (she/her) and Bryce (he/him) met each other at Northeastern University and have been attached at the hip for six years now. Bryce popped the question during a recent trip to London this year. While they’re fans of traveling, these two are self-proclaimed homebodies, but there’s nothin’ wrong with that. Finding someone you can create a home with is what real love is all about! And these two have a cozy little nest in Eastie with their cat, Hunky Dory. Yes. Hunky Dory. He is as amazing as he sounds. Bryce and Em enjoy a good Bad Movie Night with friends, vegging out on the couch playi ..read more
