But if you want the whole wedding journey, let’s start at getting ready at the legendary London hotel - The Ned. I’ve shot many weddings at The Ned and at this point if feels like home to me - the relaxed, but oh-so-chic design, the timelessness and cocktails. It has it all. And the spa. Like a painting you walk into - St Giles House as a wedding venue A little winter beauty coming at you today… Destination wedding, but done differently - in England. Let’s start with Josie and Fergus’s wonderful choice of a wedding venue: St Giles House, nestled in the gorgeous countryside of Dorset, stands as a testament to timeless elegance and historical significance. This magnificent stately home traces its origins back to the 17th century when it was built for the noble Ashley-Cooper family. I wanted to shoot there for a long time, so I obviously jumped with joy when Josie and Fergus tol ..read more

Mel - a fashion icon bride Mel and Andrew, two artists with a beautiful fashion sense, recently tied the knot in an intimate wedding that I unofficially added to my “top 10 favourite weddings ever”. The ceremony, which took place at Islington Town Hall, was nothing short of a masterpiece, marked by a guest’s poetry reading and countless bursts of laughter and the tears of joy, flowing freely on both Mel and Andrew’s cheeks. But what stole the spotlight on this memorable day was Mel's choice of a wedding gown — a jaw-dropping Molly Goddard dress that left everyone in awe. The iconic dress refle ..read more

The iconic Somerley House, with its rich history dating back to the 18th century, provided a timeless backdrop for Olivia and Owen's celebration. (Have you spotted it in the Crown?) The grandeur of the estate, with its sweeping lawns and gorgeous architecture, added an air of regality to the proceedings. As the winter sun set, casting a warm glow over the frost-covered grounds, Somerley House became a canvas for many happy moments during this wonderful day. Somerley House: A Top UK wedding Venue This historic estate, nestled amidst lush gardens and rolling hills is so timelessly elegant and ch ..read more

Steph and Mark live in Miami and have been together for 7 years when they decided to make it official. Once engaged, the two decided on an intimate wedding, an elopement, to be precise. They decided to visit Lake Como on a whim, as their dream was to have their honeymoon travelling across Italy. Once they arrived in Italy, and toured Villa Serbelloni, - the Lake Como’s grandest hotel, dating 1850, they simply felt at home and knew it was meant to be their venue. After giving it some thought, they changed their plans and decided to abandon the idea of elopement - their families are very i ..read more

Another beautiful destination wedding in October took me to Italy. This time to the stunning hills of Tuscany. Here at the Borgo Casabianca Mariana and Tom celebrated what must have been one of the most emotional wedding ceremonies we got to witness yet. Painted over with this unbelievable Tuscan sun, there was just so much love and laughter and to finish the day off they had the most beautiful first dance under the stars, followed by the truly wild dance party.   Setting the Stage: 18th century Tuscan manor The venue, a hidden gem nestled among the vine-covered hills, provided ..read more

Jade and Dan initially planned to elope in London - lovers of London architecture and design, they planned to stay at The Ned and have an intimate ceremony, just them and witnesses. However, closer to the date they realised that they actually wanted their closest people to celebrate with them. So - the beautifully curated London elopement became an intimate wedding and I think it was a great decision! Of course, their favourite hotel in London was still at the centre of the celebrations, but now we also had the Landmark added for the cocktail reception and the touching ceremony took place in t ..read more

Lake Como destination wedding guide. Lake Como has been listed as the best destination worldwide to get married. I can’t say I disagree with this statement :-) Lake Como is just dreamy - it has everything your destination wedding needs - the weather (duh!), the lake (double duh), the mountains, the delicious Italian food, the gorgeous, romantic architecture and these ancient, glorious villas to choose from. It simply is magical (and not to mention George Clooney sipping wine in his villa by the lake) But here are the questions: which villa to choose? Which month is the best to go? If you’re in ..read more

Are you planning a city wedding in London, but don’t know where exactly? Well, have I got a bomb for you! The ultimate London wedding venue, ladies and gentlemen - the Ned! I’m going to chat a bit about the Ned itself, but let me illustrate it all (I’m a wedding photographer, after all) with Aaron and Lauren’s elegant Ned wedding. They organised everything from Australia and have chosen the Ned because of it’s fame as the best and most stylish wedding venue in the square mile, if not the whole London. This fame, btw, is totally deserved! (do you know The Wed? This well known magazine for bride ..read more

Hi, it’s me! :-) Since the destination weddings are back (and cheers to that!) I thought I’d write a few words about this amazing branch of wedding planning. First - why would you plan a destination wedding? The simple answer is - because you’ve got the weather and nature and all that beauty - guaranteed. I mean - UK weddings are great and I still shoot majority of my weddings in UK. But, and that’s a huge ‘but’ for some people (me including) - you have to be prepared for sun and rain, storm or just the whole-day-gentle-showe-kinda-weather. The longer answer now. Destination weddings are a way ..read more
