I have a 4 yo, 2 yo and infant twin grandkids that I schlepp around one day a week. Anybody have success with 4 car seats in a Model Y 7 seater? Note - two of them are rear facing and I don't have to have any additional adults in the car. Also, it doesn't have to be super comfortable, just legal and safe. I haven't purchased the two infant seats yet so can buy anything that fits ..read more

I visit Austin Tx on a regular basis and I usually charge at the Tesla Supercharger "South Lamar Blvd Supercharger" located at 4211 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 You can find this Tesla Supercharger on Plugshare but it is not listed in the Tesla "Find Us" map, nor it can be set as a destination to precondition the battery. Anybody knows how to notify Tesla for them to update map? I tried... Missing Supercharger in the Tesla Map - Austin TX area ..read more

and need suggestions for level two charger at home. We've just used regular 110 to charge the Leaf but if we added the Tesla, we'll have a Level 2 charger installed. With the different plugs, what's the best way to handle? Get one with a J1772 connector and use Tesla adapter for the Y? Or is there a J1772 adapter that I can use on a Tesla charger? I don't think there is but thought I'd check here and see ... and see if anyone has a better suggestion. Thanks ..read more

When I bought the Model Y I was told that it had the "comfort suspension" but it still seems harsh on bumpy roads in town. This morning I dropped the tire pressure from 42 to 38psi and it made a noticeable difference. Does anyone have any other ideas? Is anyone switched to 18" wheels? TACC and Autosteer Features

I’ve had a Model Y for just over a month and noticed some interesting (to me) features. I don’t have FSD but I’ve seen the TACC (adaptive cruise) speed varies with the posted speed limit. This is a little disconcerting especially on highways when the traffic is flowing smoothly at 120km/hr (yes I’m in Canada) and the adaptive cruise speed suddenly changes to 100 or 90km/hr and I need to press the accelerator to once again keep up with the traffic flow. A second thing is that the autosteer... TACC and Autosteer Features ..read more

Tesla has just reduced the price of the Model Y by $13,000! I have not yet cancelled my reservation for an AWD red VW ID.4 Pro S Plus, but I expect I will very soon. That's because I went to the Tesla website and "built" a blue Model Y. MSRP $52,990 plus delivery fee and order fee. I paid the non-refundable $250 order fee. Obviously Tesla has a lot of inventory, because I am scheduled to take delivery next Saturday, 1/21/2023! WOW, not sure how long this price reduction will last, as...
