Hi I’m looking for someone help. I’ve got a 2006 l200 B40 animal , I’ve had it a year now and been chasing this problem since I’ve had it. Every time I rev it hard it drops back to idle like you’ve taken your foot off the pedal but if you leave your foot on the pedal as soon as it hits idle it will rev back up again and drop back again and again and again. when it’s properly up to temperature it will rev to 4000-4500 rpm But when it’s cold like -c in the winter it will do it at 2000ish and... 2006 l200 b40 animal Revs dropping to idle ..read more

Totally fed up with Mitsibushi. we had a 4 series and the head gasket went and had to have engine rebuilt. we now have a 6 series 19 plate from new, we were told they are different engines and should not have the same problem. We have done 80k miles (so out of warranty)and the car broke down and wouldn't start, we called AA out the man said he thought it was the turbo and took it to the Mitsi dealer,. they tested it and said the engine was seized and need a new one, they quoted 22k. now I... l200 6 series Engine blown up ..read more

Hello, our company just bought a 2011 L200 Diesel. What bothers me about it is its high idle when cold. I use it alot to park and move trailers so creeping slow becomes a problem with the high idle (1200RPM or so). It also goes up and down, to keep it warm i assume, even though i´ve driven it for a long time. My question is: is this a normal feature or a fault? and can it be turned off or fixed? Hi about once a month my triton MR guidance audio will reset to maximum volume. Hi everyone This is the 4D56 diesel engined version. For some time, the drivers window has a mind of its own, sometimes works well on electrical switch, but more and more it winds up part way, then winds back down of its own accord. It takes some gentle tapping of the button to get it to wind up fully, but then some other days, it works perfectly.
