Show your pictures you've taken at the University of Washington.
I got the idea from a Penn State "superthread". Why not UW; there are quite a few people in Seattle, including many Huskies.
Most of the images I have were taken in July when no one was aroudn and the sun was out
I'll start with Suzzallo Library for now.

Given that almost everything runs up to the limit, we can probably guess that this will be 440' but no confirmation on that yet.
We knew this was coming based on a tower spacing letter that was sent to the city on behalf of this development team.
Here is our first glimpse coming to us from a site plan:

This was discussed in the Denny Triangle thread, but now that there is a design review packet out I think it deserves one of its own.
As proposed, this would be a 484' / 44 story mixed use tower, with 45,000 square feet of office space and 400+ rental apartments. The site will cover what is currently three small parking lots at the corner of Boren and Lenora. Here is a sampling of images from the...

I don't disagree that "cities" and WSDOT, not just Seattle, are not aggressively keeping up with this vandalism, but tagging on this scale was rare prior to 2020/Covid. Something has to be done other than pressure wash or paint over just the tagged areas (which looks terrible btw). That massive wall is a huge focal point as you drive north into the city so why not try a mural (the same argument could be made against the Waterfront mural, but...

'Pineapple express' bringing $70 million hotel to downtown Seattle
Marc Stiles
Puget Sound Business Journal
Pineapple Hospitality Co. President Michelle Barnet said Thursday that she plans to develop a hotel tower at Second Avenue and Virginia Street.
Early plans call for an approximately 200-room Hotel Clare, named for Barnet's mom, Diane Clare Foreman. The number of stories has not been finalized.
"We will probably be out of the ground in early 2016," Barnet said. The project will take...
