My husband had no Dove releases today, so we took a short ride to my AD, just to see what they had and see how far I was from getting my new Explorer. They had one on display, and I was thrilled to see a 41 mm Celebration OP, for the first time. Apparently neither watch was as yet allocated. I said I would take them both.[emoji23][emoji23]. I was also surprised to see a blue dial Skydweller. It is very impressive IRL.
Some pics:
We chatted for a long while with the Mgr., Anthony and the Asst. Mgr., Bal. By the time John and I left, Anthony said I will get you your Explorer. Oddly, he fo ..read more

Hi everyone, long time lurker here but this is my first post. I just picked up a submariner 116610 from my local grey, they’re extremely trusted. I did however notice that the logo on my clasp looks a bit different than others I’ve seen online. The clasp is frosted/sand blasted rather than polished which makes sense as the watch is from 2013, however the logo isn’t outlined in black, it’s basically just etched in. I typically see these with the logo looking black and found it odd that mine wasn’t. Having issues posting a pic but will try to shortly. Is anyone familiar with this ..read more

So ironically I picked up my Batman from my AD a year ago today. At the time it was my second Rolex (bluesy was first). In my past life I had a bunch and they were easy to get….even got discounts. lol.
So I said to her a year ago “should I just pick my next one now since the wait is so long?” She actually told me not to. To make sure I knew what I wanted. And I’m not in a financial position to just buy 3 a year IF they call.
I was thinking White Polar Explorer. I liked it. It would help with some diversity. But recently I’ve had my eye on the Skydweller. On Oyster. Never liked the Jubilee on ..read more

A “milestone” birthday is coming up for Cru Jones…. One of two chronographs (for the 5-0). With a watch to pair it with. These two will join with my Grand Seiko “silver blizzard” SBGE249.
A bit of background for those who don’t know: I have the 116610LV since 2012.
So, TRF, what say you? Option A or Option B? (Btw, only the photo of the Sub is mine.)
And if you care to share why, feel free! :-)
Many thanks.

Long story shortened, I acquired a 116500 White Dial Panda, kind of a dream life goal watch, I bought it grey because my AD was honest and said it would take a long time for me to get one.
Previous from my AD was a bluesy, to mark my 50th only took 4 months to get, then last year a GMT VTNR Sprite. When I picked up the GMT she asked me my wish list, I said BLRO,BLNR,Daytona White or Black Dial.
She was honest and said all would be quite long, BLNR most likely first.
Then just after Christmas this year I decided to go for 116500 White Dial, and set some wheels in motion financially to buy in Ap ..read more

hi all
i'll soon have a DJ 36 and I'm also on a waiting list for a gmt master II pepsi
question is, is a GMT master too big for my wrist?
see picture below.
discovering the DJ 36 instead of 41 showed me that a watch can easily be too big.
IF TOO BIG - which (sport) rolex watch would be a good fit as a 2nd watch?
