Suunto Observer sensor problem

Hi guys, My old Observer is having issues. I pulled it out of the drawer the other day (haven't worn it in years because of the stupid band breaking again) and now it seems to have a problem with the ABC sensor. Temp is reading as 103 deg C and I can't calibrate the altitude or barometric pressure - it reaches the end of it's range before I get to the actual value. I've tried playing around in the service menu as well. The Suunto agent here in Australia reckon they can't repair it. Are... Suunto Observer sensor problem ..read more

Re-homed Core: Bezel Touch-Up & click spring

Just picked up a pre-owned Core, and the bezel looks about as scratched up as they all do. I figure I can get it looking a lot better with some BirchWoodCasey Aluminum Black. Or anyone tried a sharpy marker? I also have some cold bluing dye laying around. After I'll try and refill the markers with some white Testors enamel model paint. The bezel must've also fallen off and they lost the click spring for tension. I can live with it if its loose. Anyone found the part for cheap, or have any... Suunto X-Lander module reassembly

I disassembled my Suunto X-Lander because one of the function buttons was malfunctioning. When removing the module (which I obviously shouldn’t have done) two springs fell out. It doesn’t appear that I broke anything, just confused about reassembly. One spring is the battery contact, but the placement of the spring (circled in red) is unknown. I just set it where it sits for the pic. Help please ..read more

I was attempting to reset my Core this morning, along with many of my other watches, and noticed a “low battery” symbol on the display. I removed the back cover, popped in a new 2032, greased the o-ring, and closed it. Resetting was simple and everything seems to work properly. I purchased this watch back in December of 2021, so that original battery lasted 15 months. I turn off everything on the display except hours, minutes and AM/PM.This has turned out to be one of my favorite... 15 months on original battery ..read more

Core All Black: Average Battery Life

Good evening all, I was just wondering what kind of battery life other people are getting from an off-the shelf CR 2032 battery in their Core all-black? I feel as though mine is running through batteries lately and although I think it's nothing more than some old batteries I had laying around, I was wondering how frequently others with the same watch needed to replace their batteries ..read more

Like I explained on this other thread, Ii needed a new ABC watch. And I decided for a Core All-Black b-). I was a bit concerned about the negative display, but I liked it. However, let me be completely honest: it TOTALLY SUCKS in anything else but outside in bright day light. It's simply invisible in low... Core: All-Black ..read more
