Hi guys, just had Safelite replace ( for the second time ) a windshield on my Red 2012 TTSE. I had heard the colored trim piece over the windshield was no longer available from Toyota, only white or black. Turns out after some searching Safelite sourced a red trim sheet metal molding for mine thru Toyota. Safelite told me if they could only get black or white, they would get the white one painted at a local body shop at no additional cost to me!!!! It did take them almost 4 weeks to... I have a nice ‘06 LX470 with 200k on it. Great color with nothing wrong and well taken care of. A guy wants to trade for his ‘10 Trail Teams with the same mileage. The truck look fine but has some God-awful wheels on it. The trail team is not perfect; he says it’s got a valve cover leak, some cracked lens, ripped seat and some surface rust on the frame. So I went camping up in N. GA this weekend and I was downshifting the trans for running down hill on long sections of gravel mountain roads. When I went to put it back in drive, it was acting stiff at the shifter and I think I broke something in the gate mechanism. The shifter now has no detent stops and flops around. I'm using a little bungee to keep the shifter pegged in the gate where I need it for now. Someone please tell me they know what this is and that it's and easy fix ..read more

07 6mt I've had about a year now. The previous owner had the clutch replaced but I'm not sure his shop did a great job. I have started getting what sounds like a throw out bearing squeal. It started out as when out of gear with clutch disengaged you would hear a light squeal. Since I have owned it the squeal has persisted about the same and at times gets worse with wet weather. I’m currently cobbling together some parts to switch my fj heim steering. I’ve got a 22 4Runner rack, 3/4 heims, and a double shear kit. Probably going to run some dirt king clevis as I cannot find anyone else who makes a clevis that fits this rack. Anyone know of other options for the steering clevis? Anyone know a good boot supplier to protect the rack? And pics of clearances from others who have done this? Hope to do this in spring when I rip the front apart for a full refresh ..read more

2007 6MT w/locker. My dash is lit up in the Christmas tree fashion and a alarm tone is constant. The breaks are no existent. The code reads that the "Boost Master Pump Relay" is fried. Now it's a very expensive part if it can be found. Options are to replace the relay through Toyota(1500cnd) or find a used abs assembly ( 2000cnd). Does anyone know if a the abs assembly could be re programed? Is it possible to replace it with a assembly from a 07 AT w/locker(750cnd) and get it re programed... Read more ..read more
