In the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, monster power is mapped by levels on a sliding scale. Once you get above 5, high level monsters start requiring a tribute to normal summon, and after 7, they start requiring two. Level 8’s are a common threshold for monsters we’d consider bosses, like Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, and a bunch more (XYZ-Dragon Cannon, Magician of Black Chaos, Stardust Dragon). But not all level 8’s are as good as their level implies. Actually, a lot of them are quite bad, which is where this list comes in. Script by Bally Edited by Lily ..read more

The first thing you need to know about any card game is how to win. In Yu-Gi-Oh, your deck is 40 to 60 cards, and if your debt ever reaches zero, and you have to draw a card and you can't, then you lose the duel. The 2 best are always going to be Mudragon of the Swamp and Garura, Wings of Resonant Life, since they give you the best coverage against any random decks, unless the deck plays a lot of different attributes. Then you have Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, since Dark is the most supported attribute in the game. And Predaplant Triphyoverutum to hit 3 darks at once. Predaplant Dragostapelia works against a majority of good fusion decks, and is probably one of the best Super Poly Fusion monsters you can get out of the deal since it has a negate. Because when you summon out the original Ki-Sikil ( Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil ) or Lil-La ( Live☆Twin Lil-La ) and you control no other monsters you can use their effect to Special Summon out the other from your hand or deck - Ki-Sikil can summon out a Lil-La and Lil-La can bring out a Ki-Sikil. Although starting off with Lil-La ( Live☆Twin Lil-La ) is a little bit stronger as you can use her effect to bring out Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil Frost , a seasonal variant of Ki-Sikil whose new model lets you get an extra draw with her graveyard effect. Either way, after you’ve gotten both a Ki-Sikil and Lil-La mons ..read more

During the battle phase there is a special step called the Attack Declaration, where basically you just choose the target of your attack. Then if everything goes smooth, you enter the damage step. However sometimes things do happen during attack declaration. Like for example Kashtira Fenrir. When this card declares an attack, it can banish a monster. So if you banish the card that it declared an attack on, you then get to Replay the attack, which is a special ruling that happens when either, your attack target goes missing, a new monster appears on the field of the person you're attacking, or ..read more
