Got skunked fishing (except a few dozen grass shrimp in the umbrella net) but saw this guy today!

Also saw a osprey with a well under slot striper, but they get a pass. Ton of birds too. I need to start packing binoculars.

I made a trip to a state park on the sound in western CT last week.
It was about 2 hours before sunset, tide was outgoing, about 2 hours past high.
Caught one striper from shore, about 22 inches.

I have plenty to do when I'm there but can certainly find a few hours if needed, I miss my striper fishing.
I know there's many probably bet ..read more
