Abstract
Traditional methods for stabilizing temperature-sensitive biomolecules, such as lyophilization and cold storage, have significant drawbacks, including high costs, logistical complexities, and potential delays in research and product development. Capillary-mediated vitrification (CMV) is a technique that addresses these challenges by enabling the stabilization of a wide range of biomolecules and mixtures in the fraction of the time it takes to lyophilize.
In this webinar, our panel of experts will present recent findings on biomolecule stability and activity following application o ..read more

Abstract
The monkey neurovirulence test (MNVT) is the gold standard for neurovirulence safety assessment of oral polio vaccines and has been used for 80 years for lot specific release testing. The MNVT bioassay is also required for testing new vaccine seed lots for live attenuated neurotropic viruses when there is a change to manufacturing. The dosing procedure involves direct injection of a live virus into the central nervous system to evaluate neurobehavioral effects and histopathology changes.
We have validated the MNVT model and have evaluated live attenuated viral vaccines for ..read more

Abstract
In Alzheimer’s disease (AD), blood biomarkers have become an attractive, scalable tool for use in clinical evaluation, trial selection, and disease monitoring. Hyperphosphorylated tau (pTau) is a specific blood biomarker for AD pathology, with pTau217 considered to have the most utility. However, availability of pTau217 tests for research and clinical use has been limited. Expanding access to this highly accurate AD biomarker is crucial for wider evaluation and implementation of AD blood tests that could enable earlier diagnosis and disease intervention.
