The Baltimore Orioles have asked fans to take a survey regarding plans for a renovation at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The survey offered a lot of insight into the team’s ideas for the stadium which include many new social spaces and amenities. The Orioles have a new 15- to 30-year lease at Oriole Park at Camden Yards which unlocks $600 million in taxpayer-financed bonds for stadium improvements. Gaslight Square, a mixed-use complex at 1401 Severn St. in Carrol-Camden Industrial Area, has hit the market for $12.5 million. Gaslight Square is a 82,000 sq. ft., five-building complex on 2.7 acres. It was orriginally constructed in the late 1800s for Equitable Gas Works. The current owners, Equity Warehouse, purchased the property in 2021 and have put more than $4 million of improvements into the complex including a new roof, custom windows, repointed brick, and improvements to the courtyard and outdoor areas. A former oyster cannery at 337 S. Fremont Ave. in Ridgely’s Delight is slated to become eight apartments. Developers Ben Garner and Neil Brown are undertaking the project in the approximately 8,500 sq. ft. building that dates back to 1920. The building, which looks out to MLK Blvd. from Fremont St., has been vacant for several decades. Garner noted that previous efforts to renovate the building have not come to fruition. Popular local ice cream truck Miss Twist has opened its brick-and-mortar shop at 1433 E. Fort Ave. in Locust Point. Miss Twist takes over a  750 sq. ft. retail space, which was previously Southeastern Roastery, just feet from Francis Scott Key Elementary Middle School. Miss Twist is owned by Don and Tammy Radtke. The Greater Baybrook Alliance (GBA) is opening an office at 3601 S. Hanover St. in Brooklyn using funds from a $1-million federal grant. The dual outdoor businesses of Key Neapolitan by Verde and Crushed Velvet have returned for year two of business at 1302 Key Hwy. in Federal Hill. The two businesses completed renovations to the property, which was formerly a gas station, in the offseason. Crushed Velvet, which sells Hawaiian-style shaved ice, is owned by Riverside couple Kate Shotwell and Mack Fowler. Under Armour’s Global Headquarters – Baltimore Peninsula Under Armour began construction on a new 280,000 sq. ft. office, retail, and fitness building called TMB2 in December 2022.
