Hi, I’ve had my edge sport since Feb, mainlyi just want to get apple car play. I have read so many threads saying different things. My plate is 16 but registered 17?‍♀️ I believe I have sync 2 so I think I need to change the usb unit. Has anyone had any success in this? So i am in the process of buying a 2017 2.0 sport with auto box. I am trying to do my research and I've watched all sorts of youtube videos for answers. Went to my Edge today and nothing works. Completely dead. Used the emergency opening mechanism and arm rest key rest, nothing. I was going to try to jump start it but access to the Black battery terminal makes it difficult to get a cable attached.  New battery fitted by a Ford main dealer on 27th February 2024. Previous battery was 14 months old when replaced.  Something must be draining the battery, well, if it is the battery.  Going to have to call road side assistance and see if I can get the vehicle to a Ford dealer.  Anybody had the same experience??  ..read more

Hi, i currently have my 2017 Edge in the workshop with a grinding from the rear differential. the mechanic has given me the option to re build it. the diff looks visually the same as the kua re diff (which we have a set of bearings for). I've got a 68 plate st line.   I need a replacement dpf and looking online there seems to be 2 versions. Can anyone confirm this? They look the same except one has 2 sensors. The other has same but then a third one. Both say they're compatible on the pages.   The 3 sensor one seems to be the UK mark 1 which mine is the last plate before it changed. But mine looks to only have 2. The 2sensor one says it's compatible with mk 2 ..read more
