I am currently in the process of a full suspension overhaul as many if the parts are very bad. I have successfully done almost everything except the rear delta links (I believe that's what there called anyway) after hoards of research I bought the Volvo tool to aid in removing the bushing and went to remove them... but I haven't even gotten to whats supposed to be the bad part yet because I cant get the damn stud out. 1998 Volvo s70 glt car sat for 6 years. I have a spark, I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter and cleaned injectors. I have the right fuel pressure and injectors work. Cranks has spark has fuel will not start. No compression of all 5 cylinders Tested with cap of 10w30 also still no compression. I pulled the timing belt cover and using the starter can see all pulleys are turning. Pulled spark plugs measure the height of the piston and pistons are moving up and down. What else should I check? All, I'm chasing a stubborn misfire issue on a 98 S70. Actually it is a multiple misfire according to the error codes. Weird thing is it only happens when you accelerate hard, you don't feel it misfiring, and it only pops the check engine light. Driving mildly there is no problem, but get on it and bam ...check engine light. When you scan it is always a multiple cylinder misfire but different cylinders misfiring each time. After filling up our 1999 s70 car turns over and starts but doesn’t get enough gas to keep going. This started 2 weeks ago, went to start the car and it wouldn’t start, realized it was very low or out of gas. I added about 3 gallons had a little trouble getting it started but assumed it was just due to low gas, got it to the station filled up and wouldn’t start again. After about 5 minutes of cranking it on the power fading out, me giving it gas, I was able to get it started. After owning my 2000 volvo s70 glt se for a little over a month now i've ran into a lot of problems, ac compressor seized up and broke the belt, car burning oil, gas mileage changing randomly and not today when I was driving to school my compressor seized up but my belt didn't break, after this happened just about every light popped up on my dash and now i'm starting to wonder if there's something else wrong with my car.
