I'm on the search for a replacement Throttle Body for my 2001 V70 2.4 Petrol because the car is stalling often and acceleration is no longer steady. Local main Volvo dealer tells me the part is no longer available to purchase new. Used parts are available on eBay etc, but I can't find the particular one I need there or anywhere else on line. My local mechanic who specialises in Volvos is pretty sure the existing part can't be serviced or refurbished in any way and it needs to be replaced. I have owned for 20 years a 1998 V70R with only 128K. I just had the bumpers and mirror covers repainted last month and now it looks brand new again since it has always been garaged and the paint is nearly perfect aside from a couple of retouched stone chips. I bought some DEPO C70 glass lensed replacement Jewel lights for it to complete the update I already had the new corner lights to install. But the shop says they won't fit in the R. Hi, I have a 2006V70 wagon, 5 cylinder, with 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts perfectly, except it won't go into reverse easily. It has to be finessed into reverse, and rarely will drop into reverse. Volvo does not sell any transmission parts, and local transmission shops can't fix it. It looks like I need a used transmission. My question is will a 5-speed manual transmission from a S40, same year fit my car? The interchange manual shows the non-turbo, wagon 5 speed transmission as unique to this car. 268,000 miles on odometer of my '04 XC70 bottom left dashboard data does not show most of the time. Greetings all, 298,000 on the odometer of my '04 XC70 Cross Country. Several seconds after I arrive at a traffic light, I get a slight stumble for a second or two while idling. Not much. So... my middle spawn managed to meet the top of a manhole cover (his speed + a moderate rise + likely-tired struts) and do the above. He pulled over within a few feet, and despite the fact he briefly turned the car on again to roll up the windows ( - I told him how to do that without turning on the motor afterward...) it sounds like the motor might not be dead.
