I am retrofitting an RNS-E to my A4 B7 which is going OK as I previously retrofitted an RNS-D to an A4 B5 znd got it fully functional, even my local Audi dealer was impressed. This time I am a little confused by the Navigation/TV tuner. What does it do for navigation as I have no interest in TV in the car. If it serves nothing useful for the navigation I am tempted to use the connector on the head unit for an aftermarket bluetooth music interface. Hi Is it possible to switch off auto windscreen wipers on my A4 B7?  I have had several different cars with auto wipers and none of them work.  Either one wipe every three days or ten every second, well a slight exaggeration but you know what I mean.  I guess the sensor is in the back of the mirror housing. Hi, I have an Audi A4 Avant B7 8ED 2.0TDI 16v 140HP Automatic. Engine BRE. Been having an issue with the gearbox which seems like it's slipping, the revs go higher on their own and the car doesn't speed up, so I'm sure from what I've read that it's the torque converter going. It's recently started to shudder slightly in 6th gear. I had the oil changed a few months ago and it seemed fine for a week or so then returned to how it was. Now I've since read you have to be careful what transmission oil is used and I doubt the garage used the exact one that was needed. Things are made more complicated ..read more

hi I have a audi a4 2009 b7. for the last few months there has been a rhythmic thudding noise from air box on idle (driving me nuts!) the power is also slight decreased. it has been in local garage but they couldn't find an issue. I have changed EGR valve, MAF sensor, did a DPF region, oil+filter, air filter and engine carbon clean but still hasn't fixed the issue. it has 70,000 miles the car. if anyones got any ideas on what to try next please let me know! Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I bought a 2008 silver a4 avant 2.0tdi brd 170.    The issue I have is the car accelerates right to red line if your really gentle with it and revving slowly. As soon as you put your foot to the floor you get to around 2200rpm. Then it jerks violently. I really like this car I would like to sort the issue with it.
