I have just built a new wing for my ASW28 and I am getting wing flutter at speeds of about 50km;hr. I know some might say don't fly at speeds that high but if there is a strong head wing and I motor against it I get severs wing flutter. I have attached a photo of the structure and would like any suggestions on how to fix it. Some of you may have better experience with high aspect ratio wings like these ..read more

Does anyone know if the prop assembly will fit both versions? I asked Horizon Technical and couldn't get a straight answer. I was told "it's not recommended" etc. I didn't ask if it's recommended, I distinctly asked if the generation 2 Advanced prop will work with and FIT on the 3rd generation Evolution. Thanks ..read more

I used to have an electric Sig Ninja that was pretty quick. Anyone out there know a cheap brushless motor prop speed control combo for this plane? I dont think I even had 20 bucks in the motor I used. I stole the system out of it for a Blistering Fast ME 163 project.. and blew it up in a crash caused by my battery coming out of the hold down.. It was ugly.. I can't recall any of the details of what I had in it for the power system now. Wouldnt mind flying it again. I think it was approaching 85-90 MPH before the motor was unable to overcome the drag. It was a fun plane. P.S. I think I ran a 4 ..read more

Dynaflite Bird of time electric conversion questions

Greetings, I have always loved the sleek lines of the Bird of Time. I came across a NIB Dynaflite ARF without an Electric motor set-up. I've seen MANY articles on the conversion and motor, prop, and ESC suggestions from a while ago, but is there any current information available. Also, MOST Importantly is wher to cut the nose and reinforce the motor mount. I have 3d printers and have seen references to R/Cairmods.com, but the links fail, I'm sure they are long defunked. I love this plane and want to give her a chance to fly. I want to do a top-notch conversion and I'm looking for any guidance ..read more
