Liz and Matt had a lovely wedding at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters in City Park on this pleasant May evening. We started out with a first look over by the conservatory and lily pond, and had some time for portraits of the couple as well as some bridal party group shots before the ceremony. InNOLA Events & Design coordinated the wedding, and No Idea provided the reception entertainment, with the celebration wrapping up with a fabulous rendition of The Beatles’ Hey Jude and the guests forming a big circle around the couple! This California couple had a fabulously fun wedding on May 4, with a few nods to the Star Wars franchise.  After a first look and some group shots at the Cambria Hotel in the Warehouse District, we headed to The Gallery Venue at Tomas Bistro for the ceremony and reception, with a spirited Second Line Parade in between these two portions of the event.  And I loved that the couple was open to sneaking away from the party for a bit for some portraits around the area at just the perfect time of the evening for the best light! Jeff and Liz’s wedding (AKA Jeff & Liz Fest) took place at Rosy’s Jazz Hall, and featured a first look in an art gallery, a ceremony amongst walls of blooming jasmine with a recessional through a sea of bubbles courtesy of some of the kids armed with bubble guns, reception entertainment by Crescent City Soul, a visit by a guest being kidnapped by an alien and another riding a skeleton dinosaur, a sparkler send-off, and there may or may not have been an unofficial second line parade ending up at Grits Bar!
