Changed my oil to Pentosin HP II 5w-40 and noticed I picked up a rattle on cold start. Anyone else have this? Doesn’t seem normal but is it?

Hey folks,
I had a suspension link fall off the rear passenger wheel for my 2019 Q7 prestige. When driving, Ride starts off initially bumpy but after throwing a bunch of faults (suspension, adaptive light, presence) it drives fine.
Fast forward to today, I raised the car to all-road to fix the suspension link. Got all the links attached, however the rear suspension is stuck on the highest setting, even selecting different drive modes.
Any suggestions? I have obd 11
EDIT: I drove around slowly for 10 minutes (throwing red suspension malfunction) then parked. I went to pick up some groceries, w ..read more

I am considering buying this vehicle. My biggest concerns are cost of maintenance (I am in the US) and time in shop (I am single parent of young children, i need a reliable vehicle). I don't need it to last forever, 3-5 years would be enough. But I cannot afford to dump money into it multiple times per year. I don't care about bells and whistles it is just a top option due to situation.

I’m the original owner and have absolutely loved my Q7. I have 72k miles and zero issues, only normal maintenance. I add a quart of oil every 2-3 months. I’d love to drive this car another 4 years unless I’m better off selling now if it’s inevitable that costly repairs are on the horizon. Thoughts?

Hello everyone. I've taken possession of a 2017 Q7 with the supercharged 3.0T engine and coil suspension. It had about 70k miles when I got it and I've since taken it to around 75k.
I've started to get an inspection due message on my dash and am planning on getting an OBDeleven to clear it. However, I'm wondering if you think it would be worth it to bring it to a respected independent German specialist shop for a once-over? If so, are there any pain points for this mileage that I should know about before taking it in? I prefer to solve problems before they happen vs waiting for them to strike ..read more

Hey all
I'm currently in about of a pickle, I would like to upgrade our family car (currently have Mazda MPV) and am looking at either 2016-2018 Audi Q7 or 2017-2022 VW Sharan, both models are up to 40-45k NZD and would like to know get advice on Audi Q7 as I have had Seat Alhambra (2019 model) which is the same as Sharan
What are some pros and cons for Q7 and should I consider buying used Q7 over "newish" Sharan
Thanks for all the info!
