All the proton games I try to run display a few frames, then appear to be frozen. This includes old games marked as platinum on proton db like Nier Automata. If I alt-tab to another app, the game in the background unfreezes and seems to run normally. Hello, Since a few days my system freezes randomly when I play different games. The problem was already present but relatively anecdotal, however it is now very (too) frequent to be comfortable. After searching the system log I can’t see anything that jumps out at me. I thought it might be overheating, but after checking, the CPU is running at 85/87°C, with the occasional 90°C rise. What’s more, the system responds to SysREQ. I also thought of a mouse I’d just changed, but the problem also occurs without one. What’s the best way to find the source of the problem? Managed to install fightcade2 through the AUR, but the overlay while in game is not showing up, even thought he option is active. With overlay I mean in-game chat, training mode hitboxes and such. Good morning, Since the last big update I can no longer select the desired Vulkan prefixes. Some games only work with one driver (rdr2, amdgpu) which I cannot select. It seems to me that there is a current problem with AMDVLK but I can no longer find the source. Do you have any information on this problem? Hi, I saw that Arch Linux migrated faudio and lib32-faudio into AUR. I know you don’t want to deviate too much from Arch Linux. But would it be possible to reintegrate the faudio and lib32-faudio libraries because for versions older than Wine 6.20 FAudio is not supplied with it. Wine 6.20 have introduces a PE version of Faudio (XAudio) so we can assume that Faudio is not necessary with new version of Wine but for older is needed.
