The State of California requires that you obtain a permit for tents if the event is for ceremonies, carnivals, worship, cooking, and competitions of any kind. If a tent has an area large than 400 square feet a permit is also required. Funerals however are not required to get a permit for a tent. In Nevada permits are usually not required for tents unless they’re up for more than 180 days. It can be hard to walk in and look at a blank space and create a whole event from scratch. Yes, you can go with a few basic colors you like and throw up some balloons. A stage can be a daunting thing. It puts you right in front of everyone and makes you the center of the big event. Stages demand to be noticed, and they provide those on the stage with a feeling of importance and recognition. At your next event, you may have keynote speakers. Make sure they don’t just blend into the rest of the crowd or have to stand up and speak from their seats like we did in middle school. Instead, give them the opportunity to take the stage and present their big ideas to everyone in attendance. At a concert, you want to make sure the audience doesn’t have to crane their ne ..read more
