I’ve been all over multiple forums, Reddit, YouTube and can’t find the right noise/video/explanation. Under mid range load and 3k+ rpm there is a metallic clatter that sounds like the blades in the turbo off balance and rubbing. Is it possible to remove this plastic junk stuff and have a normal looking xc90? I came across a good deal on a older XC90 except it looked a bit off. It took me a second to realize it has the "Rugged Styling and Scuff Plates" Package. AKA Taking a nice clean looking Volvo and making it look like a Subaru Outback. I guess some people may like it, but to me it doesn't fit with the rest of the Volvo styling. People paid $5700 for this factory option? No wonder I'd never seen it before. Maybe... I replaced the back right hand parking sensor on my Volvo.....cleared the code and the parking sensor came back on. Had it at Volvo and the said it needed to be programmed. The car was bumped in a parking lot years ago and they are now saying I need to file an insurance claim and have the other sensor replaced at they need to be swapped out in Tandem. ie: you can't replace back right sensor unless you do the back left sensor........
