PATS question. 02Ford Ranger 3.0 V6. Neighbor with no money, trying to help. Determined PATS related because of constant blinking of theft light. I never used FORSCAN, but purchased and erased, and reprogrammed original key and spare . Didn't work, still had theft light blinking. Replaced transceiver ring and tried reprogramming two keys. Still didn't work, laptop crapped out and now am just picking back up. Here were DTC codes. Any input? I am currently trying to reprogram two keys again to see if this will work. Hi and thanks in advance for your help. My truck is a 1986, a 2.8 engine with 52K on the rebuilt engine. It had been developing a bucking issue, and after some work, I have some improvement, but still a bucking problem that is less dramatic. Below details what I've done. The koeo codes showed 14 and 18. I could not get codes on a koer as it would not idle. This is what led me to replace the ignition module. What I got was a good cold idle, but after she warms up, she still idles good, but popping the accelerator gives me a shimmy that must be the bucking when the truck is driven. I purchased a 2009 ranger 2.3l and am sorting a p0171 code. I've smoked tested for leaks and found 3, 2 of which are sorted out. The third is leaking from a vacuum port on the intake manifold, between cylinders 2 and 3. It looks to be, from my research, for the IMRC line - but I don't believe the 2009 used an IMRC anymore, so I'm not sure what this open vacuum line is supposed to connect to. Hey there, anyone got an overland built ranger or something with a bed rack. Im trying to find one that would fit I've got a 2008 4x4 with the 6 ft normal bed. I also have a tri fold tonneau cover on so it needs to be compatible. The cover sits in the bed not on top. Currently has chrome bed rails sitting in the stake holes but gonna take em off.
