Hi all I have a 2ltr bmw z3 1999/2000, UK modle. my issue is the Passenger Door won't open or unlock, l've tried the inside latch to open the door but it won't unlock.. The little leaver in the corner pops up but will go back down when I release the latch and the door still won't open. l've removed the central locking fuse [no/ 7, 5a fuse] as well because I get a buzzing sound coming from the petrol cap door area on the drivers side that drains my battery if the fuse is left in! Hi all, I have this issue with my z3..  My ASC light is stuck on the dash but when I press the button it blows my fuse resulting in me having no brake light I think it's number 46, 15a fuse.. Hello, I have a BMW Z3 1997, 1.9 L with around 115,000 miles on it. I have been having a problem where it shows ALL the cylinders have been misfiring. Codes P300, P301, P302, P303, and P304. I tried to put all different types of spark plugs, all new Spark plug wiring, new MAF sensor, new gasket for the intake, new ignition coil pack, Still getting these codes. Hi new on here and Z3 new to us . A couple of snagging faults!  Can any suggest why the tachometer does not operate.  I've done a dial sweep all gauges operate. But no tachometer or temp gauge reading.  Not over heated and we have heat inside. I know where the sensor fir temp is located but no idea where tachometer is fed from. Few weeks ago I set off in my z3 , guage was on at least three quarters full. About 30 miles later it was going towards the red , hadn't brought wallet with me so slowly headed home. I could see the guage dropping ! I was in sport mode , driving urban and A roads , switched to normal mode to get home. No fuel leaks , reset mpg monitor and driving carefully was getting 24mpg semi urban. The way it drinks fuel it seems like a 4.2 Jag! Is this normal, it's done 35k miles and emissions are perfect .
