Tor Hovland and I will join about 100+ other riders in riding Sweden N-S in July. While Tor is an accomplished randonneur (as many have seen his great videos) - PBP, this Sweden ride 2 years ago, and many others - this is my first attempt at anything like this! We signed up for the "fast" group which has a 150 hour time limit to complete - the other groups leave 1 day and 2 days before us. That way we have people to chase. The record is something just over 101 hours. Tor thought we could...

I might need to add more pictures, but I am having issues with my legs brushing against my handlebars occasionally near the shifters. I have an extended chainstay and that might be contributing to the issue. I measured the handlebars and as far as I can tell they are pretty wide already.
I recently rotated the handlebars to make my hand position more aero. I like the position of my hands now, but the bars are just not wide enough. Maybe I could bend them out a bit ..read more

Hello all!
I don't know if this is addressed in the spec's of the Cruzbike on their website but I have not been able to find it.
The question is:
Is there a weight limit for the rider on Cruzbike's? I know other brand's list weight limits for their riders (i.e. - Bacchetta). Unless I have missed the or just overlooked
this spec when I look through the Cruzbike information on their website for specific bike's (i.e. - S40, T45).
Anyway if you have an answer for the question I...

I purchased a 2024 Q45 frame and added my own components to prepare the bike for long distance world touring. Here's the changes/additions that I made:
-- Thor Carrier Seat with extra thick cushion that I added more padding. I also got the Thor Neck brace and mounted it to the back of the seat.
-- SRAM Rival AXS 10-52 cassette, derailleur
-- SRAM Rival 1X 12-Speed Crankset
-- SRAM Rival brifters with hydraulic brakes
-- 180 mm break rotor on the back and 203 mm rotor on the front.
--...

Now eagerly awaiting its arrival.
I used to have a Bacchetta CA2. I replaced that with a 2021 S40, which I still have. I've put 2,500 miles on it.
Looking forward to riding the V20c and seeing what it does for my segment times.
I decided to buy a complete bike vs. frameset so I can start riding it immediately. (My S40 is still 100% stock.) I can then upgrade or swap parts out as needed. My main concern is the gearing since just about every ride in my area is at least 1,000 vertical feet...

I've had my V for 6 years now, and maybe its just an itch, but thinking about a new bike lately. I also rode the V on the trainer quite a bit over the winter and now I think I want a permanent trainer ride too. I just upgraded the V last year to Force 2x11 AXS HRD (also has Zipp 303s)
Options:
1. Sell the V as a complete bike, buy a V20c frame, put new components on it, buy an old / cheap recumbent to use as a trainer.
2. Take the Force off the V, sell it with the 303s (I don't think they...

I guess I'm curious why the Q45 is the only Cruzbike not offered as a frameset? I have too many nice parts available to make the purchase of a complete bike ..read more

I’m selling my S40 because I am not riding it. I bought this last year after some serious back surgery. I was able to ride it without too much difficulty but age has hit me hard. I’m 75 and have lost the strength in my legs that allowed me to enjoy riding. Before surgery this caused me to stop riding with my club because I was dropped on every ride. After surgery, on the S40, I was only able to get in a few miles before the hills killed me, and the routes I have in and around DC all have...

T50-E for sale. Asking $2500 or best offer. About 200 mile on it, all on paved trails. I never felt comfortable enough to take it on the road. I’ve been charging the battery every 60 days. It might have been one of the last T50-Es sold by Cruzbike. They are no longer available. It’s white ..read more
