Square Enix announced a FFXIV Dawntrail Fan Gathering event will be held in Potsdam, Germany on May 30, 2024, and Naoki Yoshida will attend. This is part of the lead up to the new expansion and will start at 5pm GMT/7pm CET, however only 80 people will get to attend. Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer Live LXXXI, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi briefly discussed the PvP update schedule that will be in place after the FFXIV Dawntrail 7.0 update and ensuing 7.1 patch. The Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys collaboration event is set to return to the game on May 23, 2024, and it will run until June 10, 2024. The announcement came during the 81st Letter from the Producer livestream. The Fall Guys collaboration event was originally announced back at the 2023 Las Vegas Fan Fest, and it debuted on Halloween that same year.
