White dissolving lines/marks on negative film?

I've been shooting analog film for several years now. Suddenly, completely out of the blue, these white dissolving lines have been appearing on my negative film (so not only the scans, but on the analog negative itself). I have used the same Zenit 122 for all this time and they appeared only on the last two negatives, I checked for any potential light leaks in a dark room but I didn't find any, so I thought it could be a development problem? What confuses methe most is the fact that they are always off-center from one another, never located in the same space of the negative frame, and als ..read more

Hey gang, I could really used your help distinguishing these marks (long streaks/bands, and small lines) from a test roll of a Zeiss Ikon 120 format bellows camera. Thank you so much in advance! submitted by /u/Slavek1 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

So im very new to developing film, I was finding residue appears after drying so i went out this morning and got wetting agent. When i got home i realised its intended for film paper rather than for negatives. Is it okay to use paper wetting agent on film. Im currently thinking no but id rather check than wait another week to get some for film. the wetting agent i got is Fotospeed WA50. submitted by /u/Iron_Quail [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

The camera was advertised as MINT on ebay from a reputable seller, and I have no reason to believe its not in great condition, but some of the scans looks unusual to me - not sure how to describe it - maybe hazy or blown out or watery (?) I used the same lab I always use, which produces remarkably consistent and quality results, and don't have the negatives ..read more
