Hello! I'm BA Gold/OWE and have a LHR-DFW return reward booking with BA in December, due to arrive 15.05. We want to travel onwards to Guatemala, and there is a departure at 18.50 the same day. Do I have any hope of making this flight, and what would happen if my LHR-DFW flight was delayed/cancelled? Would AA re-book me the following day or would I be treated as a no-show and have to buy another ticket? Usually I'd allow a night in DFW before onward travel, but I'm just trying to weigh up the risk to see if I can get to Guatemala sooner. Is there anybody in AA customer service who I could talk to who is diligent and conscientious and would help me see an issue through to resolution – even if it takes a couple of weeks? I booked 2 award tickets to Asia. Everything went smoothly until payment. I tried multiple times to pay but it always brought me back to the itinerary page. I just could not pay. So I put the tickets on hold. I called the 800 number and was informed all agents were busy and the expected wait was 8 HOURS. Is this for real? Now I have the following questions: 1. I was flying coach window bulkhead on an airbus. Midway through the flight I needed to get out. I motioned to the woman next to me and she put her feet up and wanted me to shuffle past her in her seat. I started and then realized the bulkhead wall slanted back a little bit and pushed me towards the seats (she also had items on the floor). I have an AA reservation with SWUs applied on the outbound and return. I just noticed on Expert Flyer that SWUs are available for a better outbound date. So I called EXP desk to check the fare difference and ask them to change the outbound to the new date that has SWUs available according to Expert Flyer. He is checking on the fare difference right now. Looking to book a flight to Europe this fall, IAD-LHR-XXX in first on BA. Go to the AA site and the price is something over $17K and on BA it is around $5K. Obviously no rush to book, but normally there do not seem to be such huge differences in price. I am AA EXP and nothing (blue) on BA though I know I can put my AA FF number in on BA and have just about made EXP for the year so the extra LPS are not critical.
